Capitol ChopHouseRecently, I was part of aRecently, I was part of a group lunch at the Capitol ChopHouse. I was pleased that our group was able to eat in a private dining room for eight people. It is so much more conducive to conversation than sitting in the main part of the restaurant when there is a bigger group!
The food was excellent and so was the friendly service. One person requested her hamburger be cooked "medium-well" , but it came "medium-rare", so the customer received her lunch free-of-charge. Other than that, each member of our group was well attended-to and thoroughly enjoyed the lunch ordered!
The ChopHouse consistently serves excellent food. Their "Chop" salad is one of the best around!6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGraduation DinnerWe were in town for our son's graduation from the UW. We had a terrific dinning experience at the Chophouse. The service was excellent; the food superb! The only downside--it's a long way from home for us--we live in Atlanta! The food options are amazing, and the ambiance makes me feel so special! My kids love it too (especially the ice sculpture) and have tried everything, including the artisan cheeses and the raw oysters! The usual staples are there (seafood, salads, meats, cheeses, breakfast items, deserts, etc...) but the selection seems limited compared to the past. As an example, a few nice cheese selections (I recall 4 or 5) but no "adventurous" ones that they have had in the past.
