Upon sitting down we were provided with fruit and a bread basket with apple turnovers which were moist and not too sweet. Service was friendly and attentive. The sirloin steak had good flavoring and the parmesan crusted sole was light with a delicate taste. The cheesecake for dessert was moist and the burnt sugar on top was a nice touch that added to the flavor.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Venue to EntertainAnother great experience at the Capital Grill, this was my first time dining at this location and it was another great experience in par with the other locations. I took servral colleagues of mine who were in town for a conference and they were very impressed with the service, food and wine list. The waiter was very informative and detailed when explaining the menu and options. We were greeted with "Happy Anniversary" and then led to a quiet table in a smaller room. There was heart confetti and a card set up for us! I also loved being offered a black napkin since I was wearing a dark colored skirt. LOVED this!!!! Our waiter was personable without being intrusive. We didn't want to drink too much at dinner and decided on a 1/2 bottle. We also wanted to save room for dessert and our waiter understood...he brought out our desserts and had a candle in them. Nice touch:) Also, he gave us a glass of champagne which was above and beyond. One of our desserts was complimentary as well. All of these touches combined were appreciated! The waiter was a bit to introsive always coming by asking of all was ok thus interrupting a bit. The pearl cuscous was heated up and slightly dry, sticking together. It should have been soft. My 7 year old grand daughter remarked that "everyone was so nice and my food was very good." My wife was very happy. So was I. They even took a picture of my wife and grand daughter together and presented it to them. We made reservations last minute for a Saturday night and were treated like VIP Royalty -- we had lots of dietary issues and allergies, and our waiter (and the kitchen) didn't bat an eye. Everything was delicious; all sorts of very gracious special complimentary touches and to top everything off, we weren't rushed. Dewey was attentive and took photos when we asked along with one of his own. Then, we were presented with a copy of that photo in a holder to take home. The steak and lobster tails were cooked deliciously with a complimentary piece of mocha/chocolate flourless cake with a candle on top.
