The service and food were out of this world. The Mothers day brunch was grand and the desserts were so good we were tempted to steal the tray and risk arrest just to have some when we got home......but we didn't. We can not say enough about our service at the Grill on Mothers day! The staff made our stay the best possible by being near and by asking us if we needed anything, as well as engaging and continually helping us at our table every time. Great food selections, excellent service but is a little more expensive than I might ordinarily spend so would consider it a great option for a special occasion. It is very convenient to the local theaters downtown and worth considering tacking on dinner to a show. Nice selection between steaks and seafood. Sides are large enough to share so use that to your advantage. If you order wine by the bottle they had a nice selection to chose from. We both had the medallions of filet mignon with mushrooms and onions and a light, very flavorfull sauce. Absolutely delicious, and melted in our mouths. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and delicious too. Oh, we split the wedge salad, and the dressing was very good and not too bleu cheesy. I'd gone for lunch around 12:00pm the first time, and this last time 1:00pm. My food was slightly cold,and I found my creme brulee a bit cold and yet burnt, but I did find that the restaurant had settled down and wasn't quite as busy as the first time and I enjoyed that.

The food absolutely melts in your mouth and I like how they have the tables well spaced apart. The wine menu is extensive however I'm a tea drinker so I can't quite comment on wines that they offer. Service is certainly one of the best experiences I've had. From valet, hosts, bus people, and wait staff. Great presentation and service underline the experience. My steak was cooked to perfection. The kind of a place you can have a big city dinner experience. However I would entertain one caveat in this comment concerning quality. During restaurant week when any person extends an experience in fine dining a restaurant should give the diner the complete experience. Rather than ask the diner to complete their own experience. I enjoy the opportunity to challenge my own ideas by how the chef would complete the meal. He made a great wine recommendation. When he overheard my sister talking about wine labels and wishing she knew how to remove them he offered to try and get the label off our bottle. Everything al la carte so it can get expensive. Service was over the top, in spite of the server "mis-directing" me on the dessert - he told me one thing and brought a different flavor - no big deal. Need to go lighter on the salt so be careful with the seasoning - manager was told and she was very gracious about it and offered another try. Wine list is outstanding. Beverages were very generous.
