They really tried to make it personal and have more then just the standard interaction with us, which was nice. They were professional and made it great experience despite the volume they were working against. I have been to this restaurant before and it has become the restaurant to count on for romantic dinners, business entertaining, and holiday feasting. It is great! I live farther away in the Valley now, but the 45 minute drive is well worth it. In fact, we stay at the Four Season's in N Scottsdale and will take a taxi from the hotel to Capital Grille. I had the Porcini Rubbed Delmonico with 12-Year Aged Balsamic and my guest had the Kona Crusted Dry Aged Delmonico. We shared the creamed spinach and the Au Gratin Potatoes and the Creamed Spinach and for desert we split a piece of Chocolate Cake. Everything was superb from the services to the atmosphere. We were shown to our table as soon as we walked in the door and the manager took the time to stop by our table to welcome us and check on everything. From the history that hung on the walls to the extensive wine list everything was perfect. Our server did an outstanding job of presenting the menu or answeing questions about it, he was spot on in everyway. Our appetizer was the calamari with peppers it was a great way to start, I had the Kona sirloin, it was good overall. My Boss had the fillet it was tender, but not much in the way of taste. Sides were asparagus and the lobester mac and cheese neither were impressive but just ok.
The manager did come by right before we got our steaks and was very cordial.
