Service, as always was excellent. Food was good, exception was the chicken. That was over-cooked. However, when mentioned it was immediately taken off the bill. We have dined there before for special occasions and were looking for a special place for Mother's Day. Capital Grille only offers brunch twice each year...on Easter and Mother's Day. The Capital Grille's Easter and Mother's Day brunches are the best in Phoenix. We have had brunches at the Ritz Carlton, Wrigley Mansion, Four Seasons, Princess, Montelucia and Royal Palm. The Capital Grilles' brunch is far superior in quality and service.Excellent!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, My fussy 14 yearGreat food, My fussy 14 year old went nuts over the Lobster Mac-n-cheese, my 17 year old loved the Filet, while my wife even liked Sams mashed potatoes and she hates potatoes. My Kona crusted steak was a new and delightful expeience. We will be returning as soon as my diet permits. Unless you have more will power then I do it is way too good to try to hold to a diet plan. Funny thing is even though my steak came out medium plus and I have ordered a Medium rare, I was very pleased with the steak (great taste). Mentioned to my waitress so she wouldn't have any problems with other customers. Waitress and management insisted that I get another steak, and practically begged me to get another one.
