The Lobster my husband had was delicious. My Pink Salmon was OK just a bit too salty. My desert - coconut creme pie - was delicious, it was just too large for one person. We go there every time we are in Miami. The filet mignon melts in your mouth and the Shrimp cocktail is fresh and delicious. The wine list is outstanding and they have an impressive wine cooler room in the center of the restaurant. Service is friendly and fast and deserves a 20% tip for their performance. The ambience is warm and inviting, an open room, not too loud with beautiful furniture and decor. Had one issue and that was my steak came out over cooked but they made it right and unlike several restaurants, the manager came by right away. Maria was our server and made several outstanding suggestions as to the wine list as well as appetizers and main courses. We had the Delmonico together and two sides (plenty for two...in fact you may only want to order one side). Dessert was magnificent with the flourless chocolate brownie. We were a group of 7 and every time they served the food the wrong person was getting the plate. This happened in all 3 courses. are superb as well. The sides are delicious and the desserts are exceptional.

Go with a big appetite.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA winter rendezvous-vous in MiamiCapital Grill was our rendezvous of choice in downtown Miami.It was a perfect spot to enjoy good food and conversation among old friends who had planned to meet for an annual winter get together.We ordered cocktails and munched on levash and raisin pumpernickel bread from an ample breadbasket,while we perused the menu.Starters were Wedge salads,onion soup and lobster bisque,which were all perfect! For our mains,most of us chose filet mignons Pittsbugh style which were excellent.Alas the crab-stuffed shrimp was the lone disappointing choice of one of
our group.Service was very good and we ended our repast sharing a generous piece of hazelnut chocolate cake with six forks,which we washed down with coffees of choice.All in all a great meal.3/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
