The CG in Buckhead is one of the best places in town, and this is a very reliable chain. This particular new CG has not yet quite hit its stride. I've been here three times, and the service improves each time, but the food isn't yet up to CG standards. In fairness, that means it is good, sometimes very good, but I expect perfection from CG and the kitchen here needs more practice. The wine list is well done, and by the bottle is priced extremely well. Our server was extremely professional, and gave us just the right amount of attention. We felt well taken care of while feeling as if we had plenty of privacy as well. We shared the sauteed mushrooms, which were delicious. The decor of the restaurant is rich, clubby, with an old world look. A little more light wouldn't hurt, though. The booth felt private and was great for conversation. It was a lovely evening, all the way around.
