"I have eaten at restaurants in every corner of the U.S and Asia. I don't say this lightly because I am most likely the fussiest person "EVER" to write a critique here....my dinner at Capital Grille was perhaps the finest meal I have ever eaten. Period! I ordered the Wagyu Beef Filet and had them prepare it with the Butter Poached Lobster Tail as they offer it with the regular filet. The Wagyu Beef version of this entree cost about $20 additional but it was outstanding. The preparation was spot on perfect, the presentation exquisite and the service was just right, attention to detail without being intrusive. I'd like to thank Shaun our waiter and Chris the Managing Partner for the perfect experience."

"The food and service are exemplary. My compliments to all the chefs for the entire wonderful presentation and especially the saucier chef who makes the best clam chowder and sauces that compliment each dish wonderfully. My husband and I will definetely be back again!"

"It’s a favorite of ours - it has the ambiance of a Chicago ($$) steak house with matching in both quality and service. It is a very rare combination in Southern California, only topped by the Ritz Carlton.
It was a birthday celebration, that they also memorialized by taking a family picture..great service 100% of the time and fantastic food."

"While we have dined at other Capital Grille locations such as Washington DC and Denver this was our first time at the new Costa Mesa location near our home. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and remembered how much we have enjoy Capital Grille when we are traveling and thought it would be a good location for a celebration dinner.
If it was possible to give this restaurant more then 5 stars I would. Everything about our experience at the Costa Mesa Capital Grille was perfect beginning with the greeting by the hostess to the outstanding service by our waiter, food that was out of this world, having the manager stop by the table to wish a Happy Birthday to my husband and a few special treats provided by the wonderful staff.
