The food was great, with the Lobster Bisque being exceptionally good. Our waiter Javier was pleasant and attentive all evening. We had the filet and the bone-in Kona ribeye, both excellent, though the Kona was slightly under- done for my tastes. But the highlight of the evening was when the entire cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation was seated at the table next to us. As a Trekkie, I could not think of a better Anniversary present. Brint Spiner (Data) even agreed to a photo with us. So each time we tried to eat here, it was difficult to get a table. Then there were days we picked another restaurant because of price. When a friend visited from Manila, we decided to make a reservation and finally try this place. Wow! The food was excellent. The appetizer calamari was really good. The porterhouse and the sirloin even better. Even the bread was good. And dessert (cheesecake and chocolate cake) was to die for. If that was not enough, our server was excellent - concerned without being annoying, and always addressing us by our name. The seating for a part of 6 at the Rosemont location is not ideal. A square 4 top is opened up to a round 6 top, but adequate space is not provided to accommodate the increase in size. We were shown to our table ... half the table was in the hallway at the kitchen and restroom entrance, the other half against the wall and cramped. We asked to be moved. Our second table, same configuration, was a better location but still cramped and against the wall reducing space for dining. Both our steaks were very good and cooked perfectly as ordered. large wine selection and drink menu. I do have to say they were quite busy on a Saturday night and our server had a couple of bigger tables at the same time. Great steaks and sides well seasoned and prepared as you request. My general experience is that, even though almost every steakhouse offers seafood entrees, it is generally best to stick to steaks (although the seafood appetizers are generally excellent). This was no exception as a couple of people in our party ordered seafood and, while it was good, it was simply not up to the level of excellence of the steaks - not as well seasoned and both were a bit overcooked. Little red hearts were scattered on our table along with a card. We toasted with complimentary glasses of champagne. The server took our picture and gave us the picture on a card. They make you feel very special. Our party had beef dishes, fish dishes, chef's specials and we were all thrilled with our selections. Bread basket was tasty with a variety to choose from. We wanted more of the lavosh but couldn't find anyone to refill it. A pair of complimentary desserts were offered in honor of our anniversary with a candle, of course.
