When we arrived and I checked in the hostess looked at him and asked if it was his birthday. He was so stunned and said yes because he was wondering how did they know it was his birthday. The manager that seated us did the same thing. It put such a big smile on his face. From the birthday wishes, the birthday card on the table, the desert and the picture, made my brother's birthday so special. Thank you so much Capital Grille! I must add that the restaurant was practically empty. When I said that the table was not acceptable, I was given a nice booth by the window. For $33 per person I got clam chowder, the husband ceasar salad, I got the 8 oz filet, my husband the kona rubbed steak with shallot butter (to die for) two side dishes and two desserts (creme brulee and chocolate cake). Our server was amazing and very friendly. One of the best filets I ever had... like butter. Unbelievable. I wasn't thrilled sitting in a small side room (especially with a reservation) but I would make sure to make that preference known on my reservation next time.
