A personal card along with table confetti was on the table upon our arrival. A sampler plate of various deserts topped with a candle and song, a photo the waitress took with the restaurants camera of our group, the photo given to us and when we left a beautiful long stem red rose for the party girl. They sure know how to make you feel special. The service, food and presentation was outstanding. Our table was prepared with decorations and a card and several people came to wish us a happy anniversary. Our server was very friendly and made sure that everything was perfect. Of course the food was excellent, I had the surf and turf which was done with perfection as well as the lobster bisque that was full of lobster. My wife had the chop salad and the chicken confiet and we had a glass of wine each. They then surprised us with a plate of desserts that had happy anniversary stenciled with chocolate and our server took our picture with the dessert and then had it printed before we left. We are originally from Washington and have rarely experienced comparable service in the South Florida area,,,,,,,,,,,,until now!! Our waiter, Jason, is top notch and we will request him again in the future. The sommelier, or wine manager? as he described himself, was equally attentive and knowledgeable. My Peppercorn Cognac Sirloin was wildly overcooked however as I ordered Medium Rare and should have returned it after chewing on the Grey corners, the center of the steak was sort of juicy, however the texture was already DOA. Regardless of this Faux Pas, the restaurant beckons a return visit simply for the service, hospitality, and quality of the food. The dining room is spacious and tastefully decorated. We sat at a large comfortable booth and our waitress came right away to introduce herself. She was outstanding also. She accommodated all our requests. We ordered the seabass, truffle fries and dry aged sirloin. All the food was excellent. We had the creme brulee for dessert which was ok, nothing outstanding.
I will be coming back to this location. The only disappointment was the valet service. It was a disaster. Worst valet I have ever experienced. I thought I'd try the new menu option of the Parmesan Crusted Bass. It was a bit dry and with no sauce option. I ate it and the portion was just a bit smaller than what the price point was. The salad that accompanied it was fabulous. So fresh the flavors danced on my tongue. My friend had filet and as usual was cooked perfectly. Had filet with lobster mac/cheese and sauteed spinach. All were top notch and excellently prepared. My Mom really enjoyed the pumpernickel in the bread basket. And here's a nice touch. When the waiter packed up the leftovers, knowing that my Mom enjoyed the bread so much, he packed a couple of extra pieces of bread in the bag. Now THAT's above and beyond service.
