Went to celebrate my wife's and her best friends Birthdays. What a surprise to have attentive staff that constantly checked on us, made sure our beverages were constantly full, and comp birthday sundaes to top of the evening. The food was amazing! Don't understand why they weren't packed, like WoodRanch across the parking lot (where poor service can be expected). Perfect night!!!

We went there to celebrate my boyfriend's b-day. They offered us a round table in a tented area. It was quite nice. A bit like a private room. It did make our group feel special. Kirsten was a great food server & took care of all our needs. We will definitely be back again! I recommend the Salmon Benedict!

Fireside is a decent restaurant. The service is good as well as the food. I feel like they need to expand the menu and I felt the options were somewhat limited. However I did have the parmesan crusted Mahi Mahi which was very good. Although our waitress was very friendly and did a good job, I wouldn't say that she did a great job because we could see her giving more attention to the table next to us who also arrived after us. Overall, the experience was good.

It was our first time at this neighborhood gem. At the end of a very enjoyable meal, we were told by our waiter that the restaurant has recently been sold. He believes that for the most part, things will remain the same-name of restaurant, as well as staff and menu items, with a few deletions. We hope so. The place was great!

We have been going to Canyon for years. They have an excellent menu with a variety of foods from Fish to Meatloaf. I love the Canyon signature salad with Salmon. It is also available with chicken or steak. My husband loves the seafood salad and the buffalo chicken wings.

Nice place. Ordered the NY steak medium rare, it came out more like medium well. I hate to waste a prime cut of beef plus I don't like to wait while they cook another piece of meat. Definitely didn't 'melt in your mouth' the way prime steak should. Ashley took care of us, but the kitchen over cooks. Portions are a good size. We were a party of 7, overall, a pleasant experience.

Love coming here for the blueberry cornbread on Sunday mornings. There is a varied and reasonably priced selection of breakfast items. However the free cornbread with the breakfast is the kicker that keeps us coming back.

  • Solid Dinner Options, Well Prepared
    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 11/30/2013
The experience, overall, was very good. Our server was quite attentive, checked-in as appropriate and was friendly. The food was all nicely prepared, properly cooked, and nicely presented. The double-thick pork chop is a nice find and quite tasty. The fillet and NY steak were each prepared as ordered, and tasted like steak should taste. A very good find for a solid meal that's a step up from most of the restaurants in the area, without being overly expensive (food or booze). It was surprisingly quiet, although we dined there over the Thanksgiving weekend.
