The coffee encrusted steak with pulled pork hush puppies was very good. The hunter chicken with mushroom sauce was also good. Enjoyed the reasonable portion sizes. Unfortunately my mother-in-law is sick and he needed a break and good food. I asked the waitress if she could take her time knowing the next week will be spent in a hospital and funeral. She did as we requested and she was very pleasant that it sure helped us forget for a while what was happening. Thank you for giving us the needed reprieve so we can face a very trying and difficult time. We have been here many times and had the same waitress for teh 3rd time. She was traiing a new hire who was very pleassant and had a warm smile. I believe she was from Calgary.Both waitresses were very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. Our reservations was ready. Our table was read as well upon arrival. We were immediately seated. The server, whom I forget her name, (although I have it on my receipt which is with my wife) was nothing short of exceptional. Her timing was so impeccable and she was extremely in tune/sync with us - it was simply a very special and fantastic outing. She was that perfect icing on an outstanding cake. She was about to come to our table to ask how our meal was when she noticed we were saying a short prayer and she fluidly redirected her path in order to let us finish our prayer. That, to me, was perfection with perfect service.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious and great serviceWe came here for a combination Mother's Day/Mom's birthday celebration. It was very nice. Everything came in a timely manner--finishing up my side caesar when my entree came. Noticed they had several new offerings on their menu. I had the steak frontiere (I think that's what it was called). It was awesome! Too much for me. I asked for the steak to be medium rare, but it was more rare than medium rare. It was still very tasty. And the service, from the hostess showing us to our tables, to the our ordering and our food being presented, was delightful. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for both family outings and date nights.
