Canyon Creek - ScarboroughFATHER'S DAY DININGWe were very pleased with the outstanding service and even though it was Fathers Day and very busy the wait was not long. Also alot of restaurants have a very limited menu on special occasions and we did not find that here. We all enjoyed our meals very much even Dad (my husband) enjoyed his special. Of course the bread and sweet butter is always a big hit as well.6/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful experience overall!Wonderful experience overall! Would certainly come back again.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat First ExperienceVery good service and food. The prime rib was amazing.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMoutstandingit was my birthday and we had a great time and the host gave complementary cake6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMgood serviceMy waiter was called Steve. He is a very smart person. He provided a lot of suggestions for us to pick our food. We ordered one soup and he suggeted to split into two before he put it on the table. When he saw our drink almost finished, he brought a refill to us. I can't find this excellent service from the other places. I denfinitely will go back next time.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday dinnerWe took my 9-year old for her birthday dinner - she was very excited about the huge brownie dessert with sparkler. I did find this location much noisier than the Mississauga location but the food was good and service very good as expected.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMCelebrated a special occasionCelebrated a special occasion and had a great meal6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways great service and foodCame to celebrate my husbands birthday and had a great experience.
Love coming here for their great food and service. His birthday brownie was to die for5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMgood restaurant 4/5CC has great options. I loved their selection of the appetizers. My table got the asian nachons and canyon creek dip. I was surprised how fast they came out. The complimentary bread and butter however took fairly longer to come out. I think the restaurant should of been a little more prepared for the volume of ppl who came to celebrate mother's day. They ran out of the bannana cream pie and I was really looking forward to it. Also I think the cooks/kitchen needs to pay attn to orders. My mom ordered a well done steak and cut into it and it was def medium. Overall tho the food was great and so was the service! 4/55/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was very tasty and wasFood was very tasty and was cooked and served in a very reasonable amount of time, and all the staff from start to finish were very pleasant.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMmothers dayMy children took me out for dinner to celebrate my day. We have been to this canyon creek many times and have been blown away every time. This is the one on Progress near the Town Center It was busy because of the day so our wait for the entrees was a bit longer. We did not say anything but a little while into the wait the manager came over and apolpgised and said there would be a discount on the final bill. We had not asked or even complained but this is how aware they are of their customers comfort. I will continue to go to this CC because we have always enjoyed the food and customer service is number one. Keep up the great work.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day dinnerWe had two families honouring our mom for dinner, including one youngster. Everyone had great food and we had a lovely bottle of wine. It was super busy, but our server was able to focus on our group quite well. The kitchen messed up a little by being late with a salad and having to remake the kids pasta, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. It was hockey night, and when our server was asked about the wifi, junior was given the code right away so we enjoyed dinner and hockey talk at the table! This is our special occasion restaurant, but the first time visit for my sister's family. I'm glad we'd purchased the gift cards in advance to help cover the cost that night, which our son paid for which was a nice surprise!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, worth the priceGreat place to eat in Scarborough. A bit on the higher end side of pricing, but that is to be expected for the quality. I really liked the lamb when I was there last, but this time it wasn't on the menu. A good sign of a restaurant is a changing menu without too many items.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat steakhouse! The steaks are cooked to perfection! Appetizers are excellent! AND to top it off, they offer unlimited DELICIOUS WARM bread (white and/or grain) with honey butter that I just can't get enough of!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMPrime Rib without a bib!The prime rib was done exactly to order and it could almost be cut with the fork. I have not had prime rib this tender for a long time or at leeast not since I was last at Canyon Creek, Scarborough. The potato was good with lots of stuffing. Sadly there was no vegtables and the Ceaser had too much garlic. But all of that was just to my taste.
The staff were very polite and efficient and the Manager came an spent a short time talking with us. More coupons so we have to go back again. We probably would have gone back even with out the coupons.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMFrequent visitorWe've been going to Canyon Creek over the years and are always happy with the service and the food. This time was no exception and we're happy that the overall great service and food hasn't gone away with time. Our waiter Yoseph was great, as well as the rest of the staff and management. Would definitely recommend the restaurant for special occassions.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Tuesday night deal....$50It was REALLY busy....but our meal came promptly and hot! I will 100% be back the brownie we had for dessert was A-maze n! I had the prime rib and my friend had the ribs....great protions for the price! As always the staff there made our night! Thank you....4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial treatMy wife & I were offered a "preferred guest" special on this Tuesday evening & as we were already planning to shop at nearby Scarborough Town Centre, we decided to take them up on their offer. We've eaten there on a number of occasions previously & always found it to be a very acceptable place to eat, especially the prime rib & steaks. As the fixed menu included a prime rib choice, we were happy enough with that, a caesar salad & a shared chocolate brownie with ice cream for dessert. Add a couple of drinks & we walked out with a bill in the $85 range including tip. That's certainly more than we would have spent at the food court, but it was a far nicer experience, with a great piece of meat, excellent service & time for a chat.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
