It was fairly good then but this past weekend it seemed excellent. We were a party of four, enjoying different antipasti, salads, entrées, and desserts and all were excellently presented and prepared. Two of the three dinners were excellent, even though they were only warm, not hot. The mortadella ravioli's were soft and the sauce too thin. This was a third visit to Luca and it was for a special occasion, birthday. We had a special wine request and the Somolier was very helpful at choosing just the right wine.
Not being familiar with Italian wines we asked for something comparable to a Red Zinfindel. The Tratturi Primitivo wine was perfect. He also suggested excellent appetizer ideas. The Salame,Burrata adn Crespelle all were melt in your mouth wonderful, flavorful and worked well together. The restaurant was not too crowded and noisy which kept the ambience light and easy on the ears. An overall great experience. We will be back!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
