Cantina Laredo - ColumbusPerfect Mother's Day brunchPerfect Spot for Mother's Day! Nice to have a different menu compared to your typical Mother's Day menu choices.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place for happy hourThe covered outdoor dining area is incredible. Service was exceptional along with the food.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are seniors and a groupWe are seniors and a group of six. The booth did not work out well for conversation!! Disappointed in seating and reservation was made one weekmin advance4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWhile it is pricey for a mexicanWhile it is pricey for a mexican restaurant (I paid $34 for myself: dinner, guac for an app, a margarita and a corona light). The ambiance and service definitely made up for it. I'm excited to go back for ladies night: half-priced margaritas on Thursdays!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was great! Tag teamFood was great! Tag team with servers worked very well - when we needed something, someone was always available to assist. Only downside to experience is that it was very loud. We sat in the separate room that looked like it could be open air on a nice day - but was hard to hold a conversation. Guac was very good, but could have used a little more spice. And wish they had a hotter salsa for the chips. Overall though, very good experience and can't wait to go back!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved it!Our second time having dinner here. My wife is not a fan of Mexican/Tex-Mex food. She really enjoyed both meals here, which says a lot!Loved my meal both times as well. Great enchiladas!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved by whole familyCantina Laredo is always nice, especially sitting on the patio. Salsas and guacamole and queso are all wonderful. Every guest loved their food and we always have a vegan with us and they accommodate. Our vegan gets grilled veggie fajitas and they have delicious black beans made without animal products. Vegetarians have a number of choices. Also the cocktail list is quite good. The Cinco Rita is our favorite and the mango ginger Rita is loved by ginger fans. Indoor dining can get quite loud on weekend nights but the patio is always great. Our young adults love to go and pair it with a visit to Star Lanes (bowling and arcade) right across the parking lot.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMSunday brunchMy family wanted to do something different for Easter brunch, so what better than Mexican food? We had a party of 6, none of which had dined here before. All 6 of us enjoyed the delicious guacamole made fresh at the table, some house margaritas, and our tasty meals. The meal is not giant like at some places, however coupled with the chips and guac/salsa we all left feeling full and satisfied. It was a very good first experience and I can't wait to go back. Bonus: Mimosa or Bloody Mary is included in your meal price for brunch items!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThe best Mexican in ColumbusFavorite Mexican restaurant in Columbus area. It's pretty pricey for Mexican food. But you get what you pay for. The chef walks around greeting tables. The food is amazing. Their fresh cold & warm salsa's are yummy. Drinks are very tasty. Table side guacomole is a most.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place! If you're expecting run-of-the-mill Mexican food like so many of the restaurants around Columbus have, don't go. This restaurant is a cut above, from the ambiance to the salsas to the entrees and desserts - and of course, the margaritas. The food is very similar to that we've found in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, and that's a compliment because we love the authentic Mexican food there. The management and wait staff are fantastic, too. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus, and definitely my favorite outside of the high-end steak houses.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
