A word from Cantina La Veinte
The decoration of the restaurant has been carefully selected from the most important craftsmen of Mexico. We enjoy its colors, within the geometry of Mexican Art Deco architecture; framing through its brilliant black and golden colors the splendor of its magic.
With the leading role, we have our monumental bars along with one of the larges tequila and mezcal selection in town and our bar manager created delicious and sophisticate cocktails.
Every cantina is a cultural expression of the place where it is found.
Gastronomy-wise, we have an extensive menu of Mexican Cuisine dishes, offering representative dishes of each state of the country, with traditional techniques and recipes (handmade tortilla, sauces made in a molcajete ), along with avant-garde techniques such as vacuum cooking, spherification, foam, etc. We constantly update our menu and the chef’s recommendations with new and top quality ingredients.

When I registered my open table reservation in front desk, I received my bad experience when they gave us two chairs in the bar of the open kitchen , then I have to ask the girl to change it for a table because my reservation is for tables not to bar chairs and they gave a table for two.The food: please ask for the small plates ,the large plates comes with dry white rice. Margarita full of ice. Laura is a good server.

The food was excellent even though they brought me the wrong choice. I asked for camarones and got langostinos. The same happened with the dessert. Fortunately the management waive the charges for all the desserts. Definetely will go back.

Great bay view; beautiful upscale modern decor; young crowd w/ very attentive service...pricey good and drinks; food could be better. Claim dishes can be shared, not true, on the contrary, very small and lacking taste, especially for Mexican cuisine.

more than a restaurant, it is a great experience, from the mariachis, the hand made tortillas, the decor all the way to the great variety of tequilas and Margaritas. I felt in Mexico.

Beautiful place, great view and excellent food. Service was very good as well. Music was perfect only comment is that it clashed with the mariachi but it seems people were enjoying them so it was ok for me. Should be shorter though ( the mariachi)

Interesting decor. All hard surfaces so rather noisy even when not that busy. Seemed to have crammed 1or 2 too many tables as the waiters kept banging our chairs. Food is interesting and diverse. Doesn't have to be expensive but it certainly can be so be careful. Still some great flavors and we will be back to try the casual place downstairs.

The food was ok but not great, they didnt have cocktail or wine menues, they tried to take us to the empty basement area (restaurant main area was half empty but according to then all tables were reserved- all the time we were there there were tables available - oh and it was on a wednesday night so it was never really crowded). It is a cool spot for drinks and the decoration is really nice, but they need to work on improving their food

Food was good. Taste flavor and textures. The place is amazing. Had a issue with my bill where I have called the restaurant regarding the payment and that I left my change but they just said they thought it was tip after I had paid for everyhing and gave a good amount of tip to server. This is the only reason this place is not good. When they play with your money like if where theirs. Mexicans at the end. Very bad to say that but is like there were thieves.

In order to be fair I must say that when I got there I was impressed. The place is beautifull. But that's it. Everything was awfull, our table was not ready, the wine almost got to the table as the desert and the food was BLAND. Bad, really bad! Mexican and tasteless should never be in the same sentence, even more so in food!!!! At least they should consider putting salt in the food! The service won my award for WORSE SERVICE IN MIAMI! I eat out 3-4 times a week, but this place will never see my face ever again. I almost forgot, $140 dollars per person plus tip! Plus Valet, there's no self park.

Recently never intended to go back in the restaurants I visited but I will return to LA 20 despite the fact they have to iron out some details. Being open only a week it is legitimate. Superb decor, good food, tasty for once. The menu is still a work in progress as well as the service. Only negative the wine list, as almost everywhere else, is uninteresting.. the same wines everywhere!!!! even in supermarkets...

Loved the decoration! Miami needs more trendy placed like this, especially in Brickell which is still lacking in good options. Love the tables downstairs overlooking the water, and the mini-market/cafe downstairs. Plus food and service was great. I went for lunch but def want to go back for dinner as it seems to be a great spot for a fun dinner with a good bar scene.

Beautiful restaurant and bar; great service;fun place to be;vibrant scene but not too loud; food good but not great; margaritas are too sweet. This is a new restaurant and they were using a temporary menu. We will go back to see whether the food on the real menu can match the great decor

Just since opening , very disorganized. Food and drinks took forever if they ever arrived. The seating was too tight. Too many managers without any idea what was happening. The drinks were uninspired. Chills makes a better margarita . I would wait awhile to get the staff better trained and all the kinks worked out , and hopefully the true menu arrives.
