I brought a vegetarian friend here for a dinner, and we were both amazed by just about everything... The food is delicious, filling, and well portioned. The drinks are yummy. The service is top notch, knowledgable, and friendly. Attentive when they need to be and give you space when you don't need anything. I've been to candle cafe on the east side and love it so figured I'd try their west side location. I'm a big fan of the kale salad ; this time I added tofu. My friend had the tofu mushroom entree and raved about it!! We ordered a great bottle of Wine and stayed for a few hours. The waitress was fun and quirky but never rushed us out to seat another table.great dining ambience for friend date or romantic date. Recommend for sure!! She was basically in heaven...and I wasn't far behind! The food is incredible, and the service is too. Our server made wine recommendations, and made sure we understood what we were ordering (I didn't know that Live Pad Thai meant it would be cold and raw - but she clarified). Whenever our water glasses got to be half full, someone would come by and top them up.
