"The waiter was great, seated us, gave us some time to look at the menu, then took our order and brought us bread while we waited. The food took a while, but we didn't mind too much amidst the conversation. However, the food was not at all as expected. We all ordered the eggs benedict-- some the Norwegian, but what we got weren't poached eggs, they were hardboiled eggs cooked without shells on. The yolks were not runny as one would expect eggs benedict to be, they were completely hardened."

"Very cozy atmosphere, food was good but the sangria just didn't have that kick. Tasted a bit watered down. Other than that I would definitely recomend."

"I have been here several times and every time is just better and better excellent service ( Thay are really give you a welcoming feeling )

"We didn't get to eat at Candela Candela because they do not open until 12:30 pm. Our reservation was at 11:30 am. The kitchen wasn't open. We left."

"To be fair, our waitress was a trainee, but she had no veteran supervising her, and kept wandering away in the middle of taking drink and food orders. Food took over 30 min to come, and was really lackluster once it did. I have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, so I was sad to see the diminished quality of the food and service. The host/lead waiter (not sure which) was lovely, but that did not make up for the issues. They sent a free drink at the end of dinner, which was well intentioned, but it was some gross chocolate liquour. Would rather they had just lessened the bill or asked what we wanted as a desert or drink. Sorry to say I won't be back."

"We've been there before. Although my husband doesn't love the Cuban side, I have enjoyed all my Cuban and Italian meals. We took relatives from Puerto Rico on Saturday who seemed to enjoy their Cuban steak dishes. Drinks are good, as is music and service. The maitre d's are extremely welcoming which makes a big difference."

"Had an amazing experience at Candela Candela. The food was absolutely delicious! I came here with a few good friends of mine and we enjoyed every bite. From our bruschetta to Candela Ravioli to the Ceviche Caliente everything was worth a try. The flavors all blended together so well and the drinks were an amazing way to top off a great meal! The mojitos are to die for and I will definitely be returning soon!"

"We had a wonderful time at this little gem. We had Caprese Di Buffalo and the Cuban Platter for two for our appetizers. These appetizers were a great start to our meals. I had the Chicken Perugina as my entrée and enjoyed every bite. Also the Mojitos are excellent!!"

"A very comfy friendly place. Interesting concept having both italian and cuban food, and well executed. Steak was perfectly cooked. Good food at reasonable prices. Happy hour drink specials amazing (though confusing)."
