The new restaurant & menu are wonderful. The food excellent! I had 1/2 of the Oo la la French Dip & a swiss cheese & mushroom cheese burger w/ a friend - we were both delighted. The au ju was excellent! Even w/ the cheeseburger! Several commented on the chicken salad & the Turkey sandwich (the General?)both being excellent. Soup of the day was beef stew & enjoyed very much by two of our diners. All in all a rewarding food experience! Great ambiance! The low point was the noise level. Our waitress indicated sound proofing within the next three weeks. (she can hardly wait) We plan to be back - once the sound proofing is in place! Don't miss the gardens (quiet)! We met old friends here for lunch and it was the perfect spot. The food was outstanding. Service was efficient. Everyone we encountered was so nice and friendly. The place is beautiful. After lunch we went outside and sat on the grounds on the patio. Was perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and visit. I plan to be back often even though my drive is 45 minutes. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a special place to go for lunch. Also don't forget to browse the general store after or before eating. So many pretty and unique items.
