The baked potato was cooked and re-heated; not very good but our waitress was gracious enough to remove it from my bill with no questions asked. I look forward to going back. The steaks were cooked to perfection.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day Dinner 2013A long-stemmed red rose for each mother; a prix fixee menu ; crowded after 5:30; narrow walkways between tables. We ordered the 7- and 11-ounce filets on the prix fixee menu, one medium and one medium-rare. The doneness of each steak was reversed from what was ordered for the size. We did not complain but when the waiter asked if everything was all right we mentioned that we had traded steaks because of the doneness problem. He offered to do our complete meals all over again. We declined - too much trouble and time. They were very apologetic and ended up comping us one entire meal. The rest of the food was delicious, especially the potato and spinach sides, and both desserts were outstanding. The steaks were cooked to order, the pace was relaxed, the drinks good. Dessert was particularly good. Went on a Sunday evening so there were just a few diners because of the early closing hour, (9 PM).
The steaks and the lamb were especially tasty and I highly recommend them. The calamari served did not meet my expectations of those experienced in Italian restaurants.
All in all an excellent dining experience for our party of five.

The corn was sweet and tough. The broccoli was bland and the creamed spinach was mediocre. The Chop House salad was great. All the veggies were crisp and fresh.
