"Our first visit was a Saturday night and found the place empty at 6:30pm..strange. No hostess present, so guests seating themselves..Ordered our dinner w/sides and were asked if we wanted our sides out first...strange...why would I want the mashed potatoes that were to go with my chicken meatballs,first?? Our food took about 50 minutes!!..and wasn't worth the wait. Don't know why people like the meatballs, which tasted like they poured them from a frozen grocery store brand bag, into some bbbq-ish tasting sauce. You get 5 small meatballs and a ton of the sauce for $12.00. The side of mashed potatoes was never delivered to the table, yet we were charged. Won't ever go back. Can't imagine they'll be open much longer. Oh, the beer was good."

"I should've known better! We've had 2 not-so-great experiences here but thought we would give it another shot as I'd heard they'd opened at another location. We were not greeted upon arrival, but were seated in about 5 minutes by the bartender. The falafel bites were good, roasted vegetables overcooked. Fish tacos not good, duck pasta okay, filet okay, spaghetti bolognese okay--you get the idea. Too bad, as the restaurant itself is very attractive."

"Very disappointed by our experience here. The worst caesar salad i have ever eaten..it was wilted lettuce that was saturated with dressing. The lump crab cakes were mainly bread..Restaurant was not busy and i had to ask to have my water glass refilled at least 3 times. We won't return."

"We went to Calistro in a pinch for Valentine's Day. It was our first time dining here and we had a wonderful experience. Our two entrees were prepared perfectly...the Center Cut Filet and the Pork Roast. Strangely enough, the onion rings that were garnish on top of my Filet, were incredible! I would definitely go there again. Kudo's to our server Karen, she was great..."

"The service and food was not worth the money. Descriptions of the entrees did not necessarily fit what came out on your plate. I was without a drink after my initial water and smash up for the rest of my meal..at one point the servers assistant took my glass of water and I thought oh good a refill, only to find that he did not return with my glass and in fact didn't return for a good 10-15 minutes.
Sadly we were celebrating a special occasion there. I was extremely disappointed. In fact we received better service at a neighborhood chillis the next day...without having had a reservation."

"Service in between courses was woefully slow, the waiter didn't even ask if I wanted another drink, my grilled chicken was overcooked and dry and the rest of the meal dull. Very disappointed!"
