My family and I are big Caleb's fans and enjoy every meal they serve. The Locals Night menu is notable for its appealing variety and now even includes specials. The recent offerings of fried chicken or an Asian stir-fry show off the chef's adventurous spirit. I have never been disappointed in a dish and often find it hard to choose when perusing the varied menu. They do know that I pine for a simple CHOCOLATE selection to return to the dessert menu on Locals Night. I am sure it will return soon! As I have noted before, Chef Caleb's own friendly persona makes his patrons feel like family. We are totally hooked !!!!

Despite the noise level (thrilled that a guy near us who seemed to be screaming his conversation was indeed finished -- so we only had to endure him for about 15 minutes), this place really pleases. Loved the Kale Caesar and the grilled Romaine salads. Whole Bronzino special on polenta was great (if not perhaps too many flavors for the fine fish). The Barramundi was excellent. Pleasant servers. A great evening. (Oh, and breakfast is fantastic -- very modern upscale choices at sort of "diner" prices!

There were four of us. We shared a couple of appetizers. The cheese plate was too clumsy to share. Don't try. Quality of appetizers was otherwise ok. The risotto was NOT risotto. It was sticky rice. The scallops on the risotto had a strange chemical taste. The salmon was enjoyed by our guest. Everything else was left half eaten on the plates. Desserts were nice. I really don't see a reason to go back.

Our dinners & appetizers were ver good, especially the seasonal Harvest Salad with locally-sourced ingredients. Our son particularly enjoyed the Calamari Salad with an Asian-style dressing. Service was particularly friendly, helpful & attentive. Atmosphere was only so-so.....open room, hard surfaces; if it had been more crowded, the noise level would have been too uncomfortable for conversation.

Caleb's is a small boutique restaurant near Peddler's Village. It would be a convenient place to eat after a day of shopping at the village. Unfortunately on the day we went, the restaurant was having "Local Night" and they were only serving from a fixed menu. This was a disappointment because we had viewed the full menu on their website and were looking forward to trying specific things that were not available on Local Night. The staff were friendly, the restaurant clean and reasonably quiet. We sat in an enclosed patio area that was rather drafty and cold but that is probably very pleasant on a warmer sunny day. I would nnot go back for local night but I would be willing to try them again on a night when the full menu is available.

Caleb's is a welcome change, and the only place in New Hope I enjoy! This place has amazing food that is always fresh, and the menu changes with the season. The chef comes out often to personally check on customers. Friendly and attentive staff. Cute atmosphere. BYOB.

I've been wanting to try this byob for a year now. I finally had the chance to go for their new Monday locals 3 course menu. At $22 this was the best value for high quality food in recent memory. The options were straight forward American cuisine, but ingredients were very high quality and dishes were executed perfectly. On this night you are not able to order a la carte, but the options should be able to please most diners. My companion and I both loved our choices, and the ones we saw going to other tables looked and smelled great as well. Not only will I be returning, I also plan on purchasing gifts certs for the holidays to share this place with family and friends. If you are visiting the New Hope /Lambertville/Lahaska area go there!

One of the best restaurants you'll find in the Bucks County area. I've been here for brunch, lunch and dinner and the food never disappoints - truly unique combinations from local farms and businesses that never cease to disappoint. This was the first time going for dinner and must admit was a bit disappointed in the staff. We had an 830pm reservation and although the kitchen is open until 10pm, it was very apparent the staff was ready to leave before we were. By 945pm they were in tank tops polishing silverware. By the time we stood to leave (shortly after 10pm), we couldn't even put our on jackets before they were clearing the table. However, this is indicative of most places in suburbia so maybe make an earlier reservation than we did!

This was our second meal at Caleb's and on both occasions, I've come away feeling slightly let down. The food is very good, and it's a very nice space, but somehow it just seems like it should have been better. I had the Barramundi with mango/tomato/pepper relish, and while the fish was cooked perfectly, the entire dish seemed surprisingly flavorless. My wife had the vegetarian "corned beef," which I tasted and it seemed like a better option, although $24 for a modest serving of seitan is a bit steep. Our dining companions both had the brisket which they both thoroughly enjoyed. Service was slightly amateurish. Maybe my expectations are too high, but based on the chef's rep, I expected better. May go back, but I'm not in a rush to do so.

We live near the frenetic Peddlar's Village scene and typically don't choose to look for dining options in this area. However, we noticed Caleb's new sign outside a dining space that had been there for years and decided to take a chance. So glad we did as the food was fantastic! Not your typical "volume feeding" as we call it but rather very thoughtfully prepared cuisine that highlighted local ingredients. The food was superb and the dinner menu offered diverse selections across all courses. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try out breakfast and lunch!

You can tell that I love CALEB's by the fact that I had ALL THREE MEALS there one day this week. Since we discovered Caleb's last winter, my husband and I have been big fans, bringing many friends who have in turn become big fans. At each meal, the menu is great, with thoughtful seasonal changes. The decor feels like a beautiful beach house. The staff is personable and caring. Caleb's circulating during meals seems to indicate a very sincere interest in' everyone's happiness. It is sweet to see diners of all ages enjoying the menu. Breakfast, especially, has many treats that kids would love. The Locals Night prix-fixe is a delicious bargain and we have been there every Monday with friends since it began. Thanks, Caleb!

The feel of the room is great, the food not so much. We went on a price fix night.I was one of 3 people in my group that got the same dish. All were cold.it was tile fish that was very fishy smelling and had preserved lemon bits in the cold broth, make it taste like Pledge. The tomato soup was unremarkable. The dessert was supposed to have gooseberries but had none. The chef came over and we let him know of our complaints and he sent over the two other choices of entres. The ravioli was just terrible, very dry and starch filled with burnt pumpkin seeds. The flank steak was the most flavorful. I would not go back for price fix night but may give regular menu a try.

Thursday and Friday nights are Friend of a Farmer nights (the menu states where the food is raised), so the menu is limited. But each course was eloquently prepared and we shared each dish. The flank steak dish was tasty, but I didn't care for the pumpkin ravioli dish because I didn't think it was very flavorful...in fact, I had to try to remember what kind of ravioli it was. The room is tastefully decorated without being too formal. Because it is a small restaurant, the noise level became increasing higher as the night progressed and the restaurant filled. However, we never felt like we had to speak loudly in order to hear each other. We are anxious to return and try the open menu.

None of the other reviews say this is a BYO! So here it is! We made a last minute reservation to come here for the first time. Stopped at Phillips in Stockton for a great bottle of wine and drove right over. The food was great, it was probably the best tofu I have ever had. I would like to see more vegetarian options on the menu, we ordered the two they had, but I thought they were awesome! Bread comes out of the oven piping hot, salads were pretty and fresh. We will definately be back soon.

Peddler's Village can be overwhelming, with all of the eateries located within the boundaries getting attention. But by far, the best food next door is at Caleb's. Housed at the corner where 202 splits, Caleb's is accessible from either side. It was once Waterlilies, and the atmosphere has changed dramatically. It is trendy, clean and modern. The food is quite well prepared. The menu isn't huge, but what is done is done well. And what's done is generally done with local and fine ingredients. We've been there twice now; last time having the filets. Absolutely delicious and tender, as was the lemon cheesecake for dinner. I'd recommend it to anyone---it's also a BYO, which we just adore. Caleb will come by & say hi--another nice touch.

The second time we have been here and still it isn't memorable at all. The last time we were there, the service was good, but this time, our server was too busy chatting up another table to be bothered with us. The only time he knew who we were is when the bill arrived, then, of course, his utmost personality appeared. The food is just moderate. Again, the first time wasn't memorable, but thought we caught it on an off night. The food is fair to moderate.

Our third time in a month. This time with six of us. To be honest they were a little slammed on a Sunday night despite not having many reservations, so they were a little understaffed in the dining room. But to their credit they even turned people away despite having a few empty tables because they knew they couldn't properly handle a big crowd with the reduced staff. I think it's admirable they'd be concerned with the quality of the service over how many people they could seat. Everything was delicious and our server worked her tush off giving us excellent service under the conditions.
