Service was a little uneven at the start (had to ask for bread and then butter for the bread), but we were in no hurry and despite the restaurant filling up including a few large parties, our server did a fine job. The halibut (with dill cream cheese!) and prime rib were excellent! The view, of course, is one of the best in the northwest, especially at sunset, even better with the bagpiper playing! But there is also great food and great service. I had arranged for flowers to be delivered for my wife's birthday, and they were waiting on the table when we were seated. I had the Prime Rib, which is perfect. My wife had the steak, which she said was one of the best she's had. Our friends both had the King Salmon; they said it was excellent. We felt the prices were very reasonable, given the ambience, the quality of the food and service, and the killer view. We were scheduled as one of the first tables during opening time. When we arrived we were told there was a big rush and our table was being set up. Everyone from the hostess to the entire waitstaff was pleasant , in control of everything and everyone had a good sense of humor. I wish we knew her name. She was gracious, welcoming and friendly setting the tone for the remainder of our time there. The fish and chips were excellent as was the cobb salad.
