The service was okay, the food wasn't bad but there is room for improvement. I had the seared duck, and it didn't have that crispiness you expect when something is seared. I felt rushed ans would have liked to enjoy my food more.

We went for Restaurant Week and were surprised that a restaurant inside the Holiday Inn was that good. That being said, with all the competition from so many exceptional restaurants here in Charlotte, it wasn't great. Service and ambience were fine, but the food was uninspired. My sea bass, though tasty, needed to be cut with a knife. My prawns on my husband's petite filet and prawns were medium-sized shrimp. With so many choices, probably will not go again.

Surprising level of quality from Holiday Inn restaurant!
Reviews all gave Caffe Siena high marks which is why we choose to make reservations. When we learned it was in the Hotel, we were a little skeptic, however the restaurant lived up to the reviews.
Service was outstanding! Wait staff was not only helpful, courteous, and prompt, they also served in the proper way. Harder and harder to find this in today's world.
The food was very good and served artfully. Meat was cooked just perfect to the way it was requested.
I would definately recommend Caffe Siena for a romantic or business dinner.

Portions were small, but probably appropriate. The petite filet was excellent! Three of us ordered the same steak course with each prepared to a different temp. All were perfectly cooked.
Service was great; attentive without crowding us.
Will definitely go back.
