I had it with these big juicy watermelon radishes. Yum. Also, the asparagus starter was amazing with a delicious vinaigrette and chopped eggs. There are lots of fun things on the menu including a very delicious dinner portion salad with a seared sushi grade Hawaiian fish that was terrific. We are pleased that our fav pan seared Hawaiian snapper is still on the menu and that the Elk Burger has been added to the dinner menu. As you can imagine there were generational food differences but everyone was extremely happy as they had wonderful food choices. Then decided to give it a try for brunch, soon after I had to have it for dinner. It has become my every two weeks place to eat. The environment is so comfortable, the service is excellent and the food out of this world. Simple herb that embraces the delicacy and simplicity of the plates, the size of the serving are just perfect, not the too small as tapas or too large as super sized menu. The food is very enticing for the palate and all the senses. You can take your time, it is the perfect place to enjoy your dinner with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. They especially know how to make vegetables shine. I tried their roast chicken for the first time the other night, which is not something I usually order when dining out, and it was perfect--crispy skin, tender meat, juicy, served with red quinoa. I'd absolutely order it again. My friend was very happy with the seafood special (Caffe Niche also gets incredibly fresh and tasty seafood). Highly recommend this restaurant!3/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
