Entertainment: Six nights a week, from 8:30 PM to 1 AM, Cielo is the spot to sit and listen to great Jazz, with the occasional Salsa, Funk, Tango and cabaret. Every Monday night Cielo also hosts an Open Mic for aspiring and established New York City singers. Cielo is a popular spot for up-and-coming musicians to showcase their talent, as well as for established jazz musicians and vocalists to perform in an intimate space.

"Fantastic place. The food and service were amazing. Loved the relaxed elegant atmosphere. The noise level was perfect for conversation and the meal perfectly timed. Will definately go back the next time we are in New York."

"Brought our two children for dinner before seeing a show. Service was quick and attentive. Provided 1/2 portions for children but you do need to ask. Food was very good. My wife had the Pasta Fagoli and felt it was the best she has had anywhere. Not an overly imaginative menu but good mainstream Italian dishes. It was perfect for us. Reasonably priced as well."

"Caffe Cielo never disappoints. We've been many times over the years and they serve consistantly great italian food. Service is always attentive. Hosts welcome you and make you feel like you are their special guests. We always go here when we have theatre tickets. Thank you for being a neighborhood gem!"

"Our first clue should have been how empty the restaurant was on a Friday night and we should have walked on at that point. The food was mediocre at best, although the service was okay and my terribly overcooked fish was replaced quickly and pleasantly. We won't be going back."

"We went to Caffe Cielo for dinner before seeing a show. We were seated immediately, and our server was attentive. The food was excellent, and we didn't feel rushed in the least. The person with the bread basket only came around once; asking if a patron would care for more bread would have been nice. I ordered a salad which was supposed to have artichokes in it, and there were basically what amounted to a couple of artichoke remnants underneath the lettuce. That being said, I didn't mention it to the server because the salad was absolutely delicious. The chocolate meringue dessert we ordered was one of the best desserts I've had in any restaurant."

"Very fresh and good quality food and good service. A great place to go before or after the theater. Very basic looking interior - nothing special. The carpet though was really old and stained and we almost didn't try the restaurant because it was so gross looking. They should change that because the restaurant is worth eating at."
