Portions small and a bit costly. Very tasty though. Had the salmon, enjoyed it. Beet salad small but good.

Located on Central Avenue in Westchester, the decor is subdued and friendly. Four of us used a $90 Groupon that entitled us to two appetizers, four entrees and a $30 bottle of wine. This is our second time using a groupon and Cafe Azzurri has a sleazy, possibly dishonest way of calculating the MANDATORY 18% tip and taxes. Unlike every other groupon we've used they calculate tax and tip on what you would have paid rather than what you actually paid. But, this time the service was not up to par. There was a rather large private party in the back room and I think they must have taken some of the staff away from the front and put them there. Therefore the front staff was overwhelmed. Interesting dishes with an Italuan influence include grilled branzino, braised boneless short ribs, veal , pastas. Loved the yellow beet, Asparagus and honeyed goat cheese salads and the creamy polenta with the beef. Salads are also neat, normal-dized and tasty.
Desserts are pedestrian, but a nice ending to the meal. Table service is fine, but it seems that there is rarely a person to seat you, save for the manager, who is pulling triple duty. That has happened both times that I have dined here. Griiled Baby Octopus & Scallops Crudo to Start, followed by Sweet Corn Ravioli for me and BBQ Pork for my friend. She tasted mine and I tasted hers we both said YUM!!.Our waitress was nice and friendly and restaurant had a nice vibe for a thursday night. The Chilean Sea bass was very tasty but was served in small pieces with the skin showing- never had it that way before. The steak was grizzly and a bit tough.
