A word from Cafecito
Cafecito is a restaurant that provides a warm atmosphere, recalling old Havana and the lifestyle of the Caribbean. We serve updated, yet soulful cuisine, incorporating lighter cooking techniques to the classic dishes of Cuba. At Cafecito, you will feel the vibe that it is never your first visit, because nobody here is a stranger.

All of our items are cooked to order, so please allow a few extra minutes. We use only the highest quality ingredients, fresh fruits and vegetables in our preparation.

  • Good food; disappointing drinks

Wanted a casual and affordable, but tasty spot, for dinner and drinks with friends. I'd been here a few years ago, and the reviews were great so decided to try it again. The food and entrees were great, but the croqueta appetizer was tasteless and gluey, and the drinks left much to be desired. They offered a "double" option that let you double the size of your drink for $3 extra. We tried it excited about having giant cocktails for the novelty, but we got watery, lukewarm drinks with too much alcohol. Instead of doubling the full recipe like promised, they just added no ice & tons of rum because they "ran out of larger glasses." It was gross and beyond disappointing.

I'm torn because on one side I enjoy eating at Cafecito immensely. It has become a light night go-to for me and my gf and the food is consistently good. On the other hand, I like how cozy and non-crowded it is.

I have been to Cafecito many times and the food never disappoints. The ceviche is delicious to start with and every entrée I have tried I have loved. My favorite is the bistec empanizado. Servers are polite and I although the place is small I never have to wait much for a table.

  • Great for tapas and sangria

The service was great and so was the food. The ambiance is casual yet intimate. The tostones we ordered came out piping hot and crispy! I also had the steak with chimichurri that was cooked perfectly. It was really a ton of food, too. I would come back to try out the rest of the tapas.
