A word from Cafe Un Deux Trois
Cafe Un Deux Trois has been located in the heart of Times Square since 1977. We opened when the neighborhood was still very rough , and quickly became THE brasserie to stop for dinner and drinks before heading off to Studio 54 and Xenon to dance the night away.
We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hanging out after the show on any given night.

We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme.
The food while still classic bistro fare has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers and an extensive breakfast.
We have also added a selection of savory and sweet crepes to our dining choices.

The food was presented well. The salmon burger was somewhat on the salty side. I wouldn't recommend it. My friend did rave about the ravioli though. I will order another dish the next time.

My friend and I ordered 2 breakfasts to share: crab cakes eggs Benedict and crepes. They were nice and made U.S. two different crepes in one order. They were good but small. The crab cakes were still cold in the middle and the eggs poached to hard. The decor was nice and the waitress accommodating!

We went there with friends on Friday night for dinner before broadway show. Good that I reserved seats a day before, the restaurant was full. We were seated right in time, service was good and fast. But I was a ltl disappointed with the food. Appetizers that me and my husband had (escargot and pater plate) was not really good. The crepe with spinach, goat chease and mashrooms was good, but telapia fish main dish was nothing special. The chocolate mousse desert was delisiuos though! So for quick dinner before the show it was ok, but if you expect something special as I was looking for from French cafe, it was not.

I have been here several times, sometimes with my family (three kids) and sometimes with clients and colleagues. In a part of the city that has a ton of low-quality, overpriced restaurants, this one has always been terrific.

Dined here prior to the renovation - nicely done. Pre-theater dining meant crowds but the staff was prepared to make sure folks made their opening curtain. However, person after person was turned away - only reservations were sat at the earlier dining hour. Menu provided multiple choices - both pre-fix and ala carte items arrived quickly.

First visited this restaurant a couple of years ago on a New York holiday and it was on the list of must re-visits when we came back this year. Very happy to find the food and the device were still up to the quality we had found previously. Very friendly helpful staff, without being intrusive. Every meal we have tried on the menu has been excellent. Will get some more visits in before we leave.

I haven't dined here since the 80s. I was looking for a casual spot to being my young daughters after a Bdwy show&this place fit the bill in spades. It was bright with the friendliest matre'd & wait staff. The food was excellent. It was simple enough for my girls but flavorful& delicious for me. The Dijon salad dressing on the house salad was incredible (the waiter even got the ingredients from the chef for me, without me asking for it; I just commented on how good it was) and the Provençal tilapia was fresh&delicious. We enjoyed every minute of this dining experience! Dmitri (waiter)made the evening memorable as he was incredibly solicitous, so nice to my girls and to me&helpful. I highly recommend this place&can't wait to go back!

I haven't had a chance to go back to Cafe Un Deux Trios for a couple of years now -- but finally did this past weekend and was so pleased to find it is still consistently good food, good service and perfect for pre-show brunch. The crepes are still as yummy as ever -- and stuffed to the brim! Prices are still reasonable and the service was great. These folks really have it together. Will be back!

I always enjoy Un Deux Trois as it is close to the theatre district and they don't expect you to have a 3 course meal like those on Restaurant Row. The food is always good and served quickly, but you aren't rushed either. The prices are good for that area. I always tell my friends about this restaurant for pre theatre or after.

Drop in here every couple of months for pre-matinee lunch. This visit was most disappointing. Asked for a table near the window (on my Open Table request). Hostess said they do not reserve tables although I have been told in the past that an empty table I requested was "reserved." Finally had to negotiate an empty table near the front (Mlle. French Attitude was headed for the back of the dining room) even though the place was only 1/2 filled. Had to ask for water 3 times. I asked for my frites to be dark - they came out the same as those on my luncheon companion's plate. Might as well have spoken to the wall. Last visit to Café "Zero". Will try "Saju" - right across the street and appears to have better ratings.

A beautiful spot conveniently located in the theater district. Ambience is very French with tall ceilings and chandeliers. They serve typical French fare for brunch, which was quite good. The salad I ordered was very good, better than I expected, but the noise level at the restaurant made it hard for me to have any conversation with my companion except by shouting. This restaurant is convenient to Broadway theaters, the food is fine, it's a big step up from a fast-food option, yet by standards of that neighborhood not horrifyingly expensive. So it's a good standby if you have theater tickets. Otherwise I would not consider going there.

Been here MANY times and have always had excellent food AND service. Despite my Open Table reservation and prior request for window table, they tried to seat me in the back when the restaurant was still empty at 5:20 pm. My food came out cold, and when I asked for it to be reheated, they remade the whole dish and then it came out wrong. So I just sent it away and ate bread. I never like when a waiter takes your order and someone else/ a busboy delivers the food--they have no idea if it's wrong. They DID take the dish off the bill and I will be back. But just wasn't up to the usual standards.
