A word from Cafe Un Deux Trois
Cafe Un Deux Trois has been located in the heart of Times Square since 1977. We opened when the neighborhood was still very rough , and quickly became THE brasserie to stop for dinner and drinks before heading off to Studio 54 and Xenon to dance the night away.
We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hanging out after the show on any given night.

We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme.
The food while still classic bistro fare has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers and an extensive breakfast.
We have also added a selection of savory and sweet crepes to our dining choices.

A delightful French Oasis in Times Square. Wonderful to have a bistro lunch before a theater matinee and reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. Excellent quiche and crisp beer battered fish (tilapia) and frites. My only criticism is that the bathrooms are down 2 steep flights of stairs so not easily accessible to those who have difficulty walking. Not sure if they have a handicapped facility upstairs.

We arrived a little bit after our reservation but there was no drama. Maitre d was very friendly. Had an early theater date (7 o'clock) and the service was very accomodating, providing great suggestions for wine and making sure that we ordered a meal that would not take too long to prepare. Light but filling meal. This restaurant is a safe bet. Service is always consistent, food very good and you don't feel rushed. Excellent spot. So glad it has stood the test of time!!!

The food was good but it took forever for apps to come. We sat down at 6 and ordered soon after...apps did not come until 7 then mains were rushed as well as dessert and coffee. We barely made it out before 8...would not have cared if not for having theater tickets. The prix fixe is an excellent value and extremely tasty. The waitress was also very nice and kept apologizing for the kitchen's slowness.

Me and my mom went to this restaurant this past Saturday for an early lunch before going to see a Broadway show and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The food was delicious. I had the Quiche Lorraine and my mom had the Crepe Classique. We finished off the lunch with coffee and Crepes Suzette. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a casual French restaurant near the theatre district. I am certainly keeping this restaurant on my short list next time I am in the city.

Four of us had dinner here recently on a Saturday night. Nice table, friendly waitress. Ordered Prosecco as an apero but the restaurant did not have any sparkling wines. Two non-drinkers and husband under the weather so only ordered wine by the glass.(3) Food was quite good - started with the pate de campagne and a small Caesar salad. They are skimpy with the cornichons so asked for more on the side to enjoy with the pate. Had mains of Peking Duck Sandwich with french fries, Lamb Burger, Caesar salad and Spaghetti Bolognaise - all very good although the Spaghetti Bolognaise was average. Had desserts of mousse au chocolat, chocolate fondant and sorbet - all very good. Total cost of evening was $216. including tax and tip.

Nestled in the heart of the theater district, this is the perfect restaurant for before or after a show. We generally like to go to a different neighborhood after shows to escape the crowd; however, Cafe Un Deux Trois does not attract the tourists we seek to avoid. I have wanted to go to this restaurant for a very long time and just never got around to it. From what I understand, it was pretty good when it first opened many years ago, however, it was not an authentic french menu, food was just so-so and it is very noisy and too large and crowded. Very disappointing.

It's been years since we've been here and we were pleased to see it is still a great restaurant for lunch before the show. We ordered the omelets and a bottle of champagne both were excellent. The service was very attentive. The only disappointment was the crepe suzette...they didn't light it at our table and it was very soggy and tasteless. Cappuccino was very good.

Who says New York is a cold place? Certainly not anyone who has been so warmly welcome and treated like a valued guest at Café Un Deux Trois! Our post-theater dinner on Sunday was superb and the kindness and attention paid by the staff were truly heartwarming. Bravo! as well to the Moules-Frites, and the Crème brûlée. Mostly, the staff was terrific with the kids. What a relief! We'll be sure to come back (with or without the kids).

My son picked this restaurant after reading in reviews that it had many gluten free options. While I was disappointed in the number of gluten-free options, three plus salads, no one in our party was disappointed with the food overall. Definitely worth the trip. The salmon was moist and delicious. My husband enjoyed the jumbalaya crepe and apple filled dessert. Our one food complaint was the sugar on the creme brûlée was a bit burnt.

My 10 year-old daughter and I enjoyed a great lunch before a Saturday matinee. I ordered off the main menu, although the prix-fixe was appealing (I wasn't hungry enough for three courses, though I was glad I saved room for their delicious chocolate mousse!). My daughter ordered off the children's menu. Lots of choices, good service and we enjoyed our meal.

My brother and I came here for the first time for breakfast last week. The menu contained an assortment of delicious dining options. It was so hard to choose what to eat; everything seemed appealing. I eventually opted for the Nutella crepes along with a cup of cappuccino. This was one of the best cappuccinos I ever tasted. The crepes were also quite delicious!

This restaurant was on a list of recommendations from the company I bought theatre tickets from. It was right next door to the theatre I was going to, and appeared to have a traditional French bistro menu. It lived up to the billing. Food was very good, and nicely presented. The service was certainly better than what other reviews had indicated, simply reminded me of a typical bistro in Paris. I would go again.

My mother loves this restaurant, so we went there on their recent visit to Manhattan. The meal was very nice, and we enjoyed our table placement. The food was fantastic, even if you're not a fan of "french food" there is something there that you will enjoy. Personally, I had the crab cake salad, which had a lot of crab in it, and the Wild Salmon Grille, both not traditional "French" cuisine (though I was tempted to order the Beef Bourguignon, which my brother had and it looked delicious.

With a good location on 44th St, the Cafe offers a fine meal in a pleasant setting and always manages to do so in time to catch a play on Broadway. Good option for a decent meal before the theatre. Also, with seating available at 5, we were able to have a very nice dinner after a matinee performance, giving us a chance to relax and miss the worst of the rush hour traffic out of the City.
