A word from Cafe Tu Tu Tango - Orlando
Set in a Spanish Artist's loft, CAFÉ TU TU TANGO evokes a time when artists found inspiration and community in sharing food, drink and philosophy with one another. The bohemian lifestyle fashioned life as a grand celebration, a feast of the senses to be shared and treasured. Together, artists found kinship over meals shared, over drink, music, and conversation.

One of the things that truly makes CAFÉ TU TU TANGO unique is our menu. Not only does our scratch kitchen serve up creative fare that captures exotic flavors from around the world, but we do so with appetizer-style portions that are meant to be shared. Choose an array of dishes for your table, and let the party enjoy them communally. Experience a spectrum of the world's most tantalizing tastes together. Savor both the food and the company. This is what life is all about. Come in and join the party!

Diner Reviews
  • "It was a wonderful experience and the food was great! My only criticism was the enforced valet parking. I thought it was strange that all these parking spaces- surrounding the restaurant- we're available but I had to turn my car over to a valet attendent who parked my vehicle in the space across from the valet stand. Then when I wanted to leave, I had to wait 15 minutes for the valet because he had the car keys. If I had parked myself, I would have had my car keys, walked 30ft to my car, and could have left with my family (with children) right away."

  • "The decor is very entertaining and engaging for children. The staff was very accommodating too. The noise level is a bit intense, but it adds to the liveliness and drowns out the occasional crying child. The food was excellent and a few offerings were acceptable for kids. All in all, a really fun place."

  • "This is a terrific experience. However, it's best when you have at least 3+ people so you can get a maximum of dishes and really taste a number of plates. Food is really great and service is always phenomenal."

  • "Just moved to the area and this place is a dream come true. Outstanding food. tried 12+ different things and NOTHING was even mediocre - everything was great. Banana caramel pizza dessert is UNREAL. Salmon burgers, mac and cheese and the mango ribs were so good. Outstanding place."

  • "The mix and the variety of different music with the restaurant's original theme does not necessarily fit well ."

  • "I'm a Bostonian who dined here while on vacation and what a pleasant surprise this place wise. The vibe we cool with the local artwork and the in house artist who was making art right there. Service was friendly and attentive without being in your fact. Our server's recommendations were spot on! The food and drinks were delicious with lots of great flavor and portion sizes were spot on for tapas sizes. If I lived on Orlando I would frequent this spot!"

  • "Food was good- not outstanding as others have denoted it to be; however, prices were reasonable. Good variety of food choices and could accommodate any palate."

  • "A great change from typical Disney Fare! We have been dining here for many years. and it remains as good as ever. Such a variety of food. The small plates allow for much sampling. Great service, innovative, wonderful dishes and a fun atmosphere!"

  • "We ate at Tu Tu Tango Cafe all three nights we were in Orlando. We were amazed by all the choices for dinner which all were so good! Save room for dessert too because they are great!"

  • "Each dish was very good. If your adventurous at all you have to try this. Don't plan on relaxing into comfort though, this place has succumbed to the cheap furniture craze as well."

  • "Enjoyed this with the family. We ordered several rounds of small plates and left stuffed! We told the kids it was a chance to try new things and that you earned a point for each new thing you tried! Then they "won" dessert for their efforts! Fun for families or couples or even a girls night! Eclectic art everywhere and lively music!"

  • "This was our first time to the restaurant and we were looking forward to trying out dishes we never had before. The food was fantastic! Great items with great flavors. Sadly we couldn't get more forks to save our lives apparently even after asking 2 different servers."

  • "A great selection of small plates and interesting drinks in a venue with lots of art, lots of energy and lots of sound. Very enjoyable but not for a quiet, romantic evening."

  • "This is a one of a kind place. We got there for dinner, everything is tapas size plates. We were a group of four which allowed us to actually order eight different items and share them all. Everything we had was hot and yummy. The noise level can get a little intense but it is part of the charm. They have a belly dancer and a fortune teller ready to entertain.....they were great.....give this place a try, be open to trying lots of menu items and have fun"

  • "This is one of my favorite restaurants on I-drive. I have coming to this restaurant for almost 15 years. It's always fun and I have never had someone not enjoy it. It's entertaining and yummy! Something for everyone!"

  • "Loved the artistic ambiance at Tu Tu Tango. Lots of interesting and yummy menu choices, as well Loved the Argentinian Steak with Chimichurri, and the Jalapeno Mac & Cheese, as well as the Guava Ribs. The Felafel was also delish. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes! I think it is probably even more fun to go at night, when the place is in full swing with the artists and entertainment. We were there at lunch, and the best thing about that was it was quieter, and not as crowded."

  • "Comp valet parking. Made a reservation online in comments or request I put celebrating a Birthday and aniversary. Got there half hour early and was able to be seated right away. Wobbly table, stuck in a corner with a broken light bulb, was given flash lights to see menu. All menu items are appetizer portions. Was told by waiter there were 4 kitchens and everything came out quickly so we could order throughout the meal and plates would come out quickly. Not the case, took 20min per plate. Food tasted good but the experience and about $75 later for two people no so great. A simple happy birthday or aniversary comment would have been nice. I don't ever mind spending money if both food and service are great and was not the case here."

  • "This was my second time dining here and it will definitely not be my last. The food was great and the small plate concept is awesome for being able to sample many things. The chimmichurri steak skewers were so tender, the gauva glazed bbq ribs were tasty and the southwest chicken and gaudi flatbreads were awesome. For dessert, the chocolate calzone and rocky road pie thing were a great way to end a great meal. While there is a pretty standard menu, I also enjoy that there are additional items that change from time to time. The ambiance is fun and funky, displaying pieces by local artist that are for purchase. The belly dancer is always a cool entertainment offering as well."

  • "My girlfriend introduced me to Tu Tu Tango about a year ago, and it is now a staple every time I go to Orlando. I live in Tampa, and sometimes want to drive to Orlando just to visit this restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing, everything is supporting local artists and all fresh items on the menu. I love EVERYTHING about this place."

  • "Whenever I visit Orlando I always make a trip to Tu Tu Tango - the food is always fresh and varied and the vibe is totally not touristy. This visit was no exception - great food delivered in small plates which gives you the opportunity to try many things. The different sangrias are delicious - would totally recommend the sparkling, Staff is very attentive and the place is always hopping with local artists and performers - will continue to return every time I can!"

  • "There were three of us at dinner. Our only regret was that we were only able to order 5 different tapas. There were so many others that we wanted to try. I found the alligator bites only so-so but my two dinner companions loved them (I would have preferred less breading to get more of the flavor of the alligator) I personally liked the guava pork ribs and loved the jalapeno mac & cheese. For dessert the three of us shared the chocolate lollipops and the chocolate calzone -- both were awesome. The outdoor patio was great."

  • "Tu Tu Tango is a great find in Orlando. A restaurant with visible ties to the local artist community was a breath of fresh air in the overwhelmingly packaged and commercialized "Orlando experience ". The small plate concept is well implemented here, offering a variety of foods in excitingly delicious combinations. The noise was excessive, probably bordering on unhealthy, but the entertainment was fun and it was an overall very enjoyable dinner."
