We decided to go a bit upscale one night and booked at Cafe 30-A. Good choice! It is an attractive, comfortable restaurant with a good vibe. More upscale than the beachy restaurants we had been frequenting but not stuffy by any means. We had a nice, relaxing evening and the touch of service was just about right. The wine list is long and a bit eclectic with many labels of which I was unfamiliar. A good thing and not overpriced. We selected a Brunello - the only one on the list. A beautiful wine. All in all, the evening was just what we had hoped. Our waiter was excellent, and the food was awesome. I think the only oddity to it is they have what I would call mandatory parking. I know it sounds maybe cheap, but you spend roughly $15/couple and now pay $10 valet, and the parking lot is close and convenient. The wood roasted grouper was terrific. The steak was also good. Staff gladly switched our sides to accommodate our preferences.
For dessert. We shared the banana beignets with macadamia ice cream. Wow, was that good
