The special salad with fig and rice salad was beautifully presented, unique in concept, and absolutely delicious. I had spagetti with veal meatballs, which are always good, and my friend had the pasta with veal and sausage bolognese which was terrific. A good variety of entrees are offered and pricing is reasonable. The montepulciano was a well flavored wine and i would recommend it. We sat in the secondary room, without windows, and did not miss the view of the parking lot or the noise that bounces off the glass. very nice meal.

The food was excellent, but service was poor. We had to ask three times for a refill on the breadbasket and when it arrived, it was lacking several items in the initial basket. A glass of 7-Up soda was served to one of our party. It turned to be only seltzer. The bar needed to insert a new cartridge, according to the waitress. That took approximatelhy 15 minutes and a second request on our part. The dessert courses were not served all at once. One selection was served much later. Lastly, the maitre d' asked us to leave since he needed the table for another party. We had been there for 2 hrs, which we did not think was unusually long as there were seven of us, celebrating a birthday. I would not recommend this for a special occasion.

The food here is quite tasty. I cannot give it a better rating for one reason. I ordered the fettucini with shrimp and lobster. It was reasonably priced at $23, and it was delicious. However, the dish was basically all fettucini with bits of cut up shrimp (probably one large shrimp cut into pieces) and perhaps one small bit of lobster.
The rigatoni bolognese was the same story. Where was the meat? Go for the $24 prix fixe before 5:30 to get your money's worth.
