Cafe Sevilla - RiversideOkay for Riverside standards.I have been to Sevilla in San Diego often. The location in Riverside is nicer and pleasant location.
However, the food was not impressive. We were there in a group of 5 and ordered 12 tapas (different ones) 2 main courses (Paella's) and desert. Only thing that stood out as full of flavr owas the mushroom and fig coca. All the dishes were not bad but just short of being great. The flavors were muted, an was like looking at a beautiful painitng through a cheese cloth. Almost seemed like the chef did not taste the dishes to make sure they were salted and flavored sufficiently,
Even great cooks and cheds have an off night. So I would give them a chance again. Hope they sharpen the flavors to match the environemnt.
