Cafe Sevilla- Long BeachEat here oftenWe eat here about every 2 months and always enjoy our meal. We order tapas and now have our favorites, but do try new ones. Our current favorite are the stuffed dates wrapped in bacon and served with a sweet sauce. This time we were there before 7pm and there was a happy hour which offered several tapas at half price, so not only was our meal super, the price was great too. I noted a scenic view, well its a view of Pine Ave, but the street is lively and at night there are colored lights so it is scenic in its own way.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat timesI went because I was meeting a first date. She has been there before, so I went along with it. From the receptionists to the server, to the food, it was fantastic. Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with blue cheese? Are you kidding me! I am now craving that delicacy! The atmosphere was perfect. I was not fond of my seat, so I asked my server if we can move. She moved us with no questions, but with a smile. This place is just like a club, but without people just jumping around like animals bumping into you. Great energy levels. There staff knows their menu and can answer any questions easily. There drink menu is extensive and their delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone. They have Tropical music (Loud). I expected traditional Paella and at least a Spanish guitar sound somewhere - not timbales, congas, and merengue music in the bar area. We were there on a Saturday night and although in the main dining area, we could hear the flamenco music and dancers from the showroom area.
