This is such a nice and friendly restaurant with delectable menu items prepared beautifully. Their specials are fabulous, crab salad or halibut is out of this world! The service was excellent, as the server paid attention to us, as needed, and had a witty sense of humor as well. He was engaging and friendly, and didn't make any errors in our orders. The place is a bit challenging to find if you aren't familiar with this area, but there is a nice parking lot right next to it, which is convenient. The food here was great (there were six of us in our party, and we all enjoyed our entrees), but I would recommend that you try their Susie's Downfall and Polenta. I had the Seabass for my entree, but I think it's a special item, so I'm not sure if it's available regularly. I am in the Palo Alto are at least one per quarter, ansd I always enjoy at least one meal per trip at Cafe Pro Bono. On my most recent trip, I took a party of 6, including three "new" customers.
