Cafè PierreOn the spur of the moment,On the spur of the moment, we chose Café Pierre for dinner the other night. We were in a bit of a rush, as we had an event later that evening. We dined on the early side, so the restaurant was not crowded. It had been a while since I'd been there, and I was quite impressed with the remodel! The restaurant looked sparkly and suitably fresh. Our waitress was delightful and promised to get us out in time to make our event. She did not disappoint! The food was delicious. I especially loved the octopus small plate - sooooo good! We are definitely going back.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice. Much quieter thanVery nice. Much quieter than other local establishments.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMRestaurant has been aroundRestaurant has been around for years! I wish that they would go back to where they were a number of years ago vs. trying to compete with MB Post! Their menu has become VERY confusing with even the wait staff not knowing what is a "small" plate vs. a main course. AND....what French bistro/restaurant does not serve escargot is beyond belief (and their excargot was some of the best I have ever had). I would suggest they review their menu, compare to some of their old standards, and get back to an outstanding review.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe both ordered fish dishes,We both ordered fish dishes, and they both came out looking appetizing and tasting delicious. Cafe Pierre's wine cellar is quite impressive, but I would like to see the wine list contain more moderately priced options, because every meal does not require an ultra-fine wine.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMA foodies dream! What a surprise! Way beyond expectations. We were looking for nice dinner and reserved a meal that left our taste buds jumping with joy. The waiter was perfect. He understood that we were not in rush and treated us as though we were his only guests. The menu leaves you breathless. Everything on the menu wants you to order it. The best that you can order the whole menu on small or large plates. Mix and match as they say.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
