  • "Good place for working business lunch. High ceilings reduce ambient noise considerably and large round tables easily accommodate six. Food and service is good to very good."

  • "Excellent breakfast today Harry our server made it outstanding .thank you Harry for all good service and good food I really recommended.im big fan for cafepacifica .thank you ."

  • "Open table confirmed our reservation yet when we arrived the restaurant was closed. We were told it doesn't open at the time we booked. We received no points and I recently changed email address on my profile. When I login via fbook I have points but direct thru open table none. Please fix or I'm leaving open table."

  • "Very expensive for mediocre food. Service was fine but nothing special. Only one hostess for sunday morning brunch. Flavorless crab and shrimp."
    Dined on 8/3/2014
  • "I was quite disappointed with the food, considering the money they charge. The main course was awful. I would spend the money somewhere else if you are looking for really great food. There are so many in Vancouver you can choose for the price. The opera singers were great, the ambience was good but definitely not impressed with the food. ."

  • "We enjoyed a wonderful dinner for two. The food was outstanding, my husband had the bet steak in a long time and it wasn't even Alberta Beef. My meal was also delicious but we were too full for dessert."
    Dined on 7/26/2014
  • "an ample buffet offering both Eastern and Western culinary brunch traditions - I had eggs Benedict and gyoza, others smoked salmon and dim sum, all delectable, delicious - but the place is as large as a food court, and supports as much traffic, if you're looking for something more intimate"
    Dined on 7/20/2014
  • "The Pan Pacific Cafe receptionist had kindly arranged for us to have a quiet corner. The waiter has been most considerate and for once my almost toothless husband enjoyed his meal as the restaurant specially prepared mashed potato for him instead of chips. The restaurant was quite full, and many were cheering the victory of the German football team that won the Cup at Bazil on the many TVs around. Jessie."

  • "Substandard steak quality marred an otherwise well-prepared meal. I will still return though."

  • "Father's Day brunch was amazing. Quality food, Quality service and Quality selection. Only thing that didn't tasted quite right was the jumbo shrimps which tasted spongy. Different supplier? Have been to Cafe Pacifica many times for brunch and the jumbo shrimps were always fabulous."

  • "Went there for Father's Day brunch with our three year old and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and service was great."

  • "It was great choice for father's day brunch! We found the service first class and the food was very fresh and good. They had a good variety of selections and the Omelettes were excellent."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "Buffet was wonderful, views of cruise ships and bay are nice"
    Dined on 6/9/2014
  • "This brunch is extremely overpriced. We should have read the reviews prior to coming here! The only hot items were eggs (poorly made omelettes at that) and meat (although I will say that the roast beef was good). There was no waffles, french toast or pancakes....and if there was, our server never offered them to us. I'm glad that our bill for $150 for 2 people included the entire pot of coffee I drank!"
    Dined on 6/8/2014
  • "Although the food at the Brunch was good the ambience was not, we had expected that there would have been table clothes and more "white glove" service for a brunch that was double the costs of others I have been to, with more ambience than yours. The view was blocked by a ship which I realize is not the restaurants fault but most of the dining room that was not facing the ship all you mostly saw was a wall or the sails nothing "spectacular" at all - on-line it said "Smart Casual" and yet there were people in shorts and flip-flops and the chairs were more like a diner than an upscale restaurant. This was our first time there and it was a special treat for our wedding anniversary and a birthday, we dressed up and had expected much more. "

  • "As a high end restaurant, it has the most friendly service team from front desk to server! "
    Dined on 5/25/2014
  • "Plenty of hot and cold choices for brunch, everything top quality. Helpful staff, no hovering but easily available. Pricey for the average person, but worth it for special occasions."

  • "we had a wonderful time, it was like been in a dream"
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "If you are looking for that moment, this would be one of the places to be. The brunch buffet is situated with some nice views (once you step outside). The variety of foods and themes to choose from makes it different than most standard buffets. The presentation of food and service provided makes the higher priced worthwhile. My only recommendation is to have a clear line showing "reservations" as it normal for people to go up to the front to confirm reservations when you get there like other restaurants (including fine-dining) and lines are usually for walk-ins. This would avoid embarrassing moments for your patrons."

  • "I will not go to a resturant that includes a 17% tip in the bill---ever"
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "Soooo over rated and for almost $100 per person on Mother's Day they should be ashamed of themselves for serving previously frozen seafood!! This is Vancouver, get it fresh... The list of how this place failed is too long to write but trust me it's an epic fail!! Previously frozen seafood, only three cheeses offered, no charcuterie!! On and on. Total rip off!"
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "The food was good. The waiters didnt check on me enough. I had to ask twice for tea, wait a long time for the bill. Also, I dont know why they put us in the cypress room. Its not as nice as the regular dining area. I wont go back because of that last point."

  • "The food was excellent and as it was my husband`s surprise birthday treat with family and before going on the Alaskan Cruise we were treated with friendliness and utmost professionalism. My husband was presented with a wonderful birthday cake...a big surprise to us all.. thank you for making this a special time for him and all of us. We were not rushed and our servers and waiters were most attentive. Although somewhat expensive it was worth every cent. A wonderful experience and thank you. "

  • "We were surprised by the tastiness and quantity of food served here. The chef here can flavour seafood like nobody else. My warm prawn salad used tomatoes and onions to flavour the prawns and was a great mix of warm and cold and textures. In the "taste of the sea" entrée, every bite of the salmon was moist and flavourful, again I think tomatoes were involved. The potato, mushroom and crab side was AMAZING. The chocolate mousse was small but very rich with a band of some sweet gelatinous goodness in the middle to break up the chocolate. My husband had the caprese salad, "taste of the prairies" entrée with bison and ribs, and the crème parfait dessert which was just heavenly. Café pacifica is now my husband's new favourite."

  • "The best part of our experience is the service...our waitress Natalia did everything to make our birthday celebration a memorable one, from start to finish. She accommodated all our request such as substitute of fries to salad, cold water to hot water, extra hot water for tea,and wow! She's a great photographer ... Every time we requested for her to take our pictures, she was so happy and enjoyed taking the pictures...and the birthday dessert with candles for the birthday celebrant...Natalia sang the birthday song beautifully ... I will definitely recommend Cafe Pacifica with Natalia as server to friends and family! Thanks so much Natalia of Cafe Pacifica for making this birthday a very memorable and will for unforgettable a very long time "

  • "We were at the dental convention and decided to eat at Cafe Pacifica. We were seated right away, which was great. When time came to order, our server forgot the soup of the day and had to go back to the kitchen to check. In addition, I have a dairy allergy and was asking if one of the sandwiches had any dairy and she said "it shouldn't", and didn't bother to double check with the kitchen. Our food came quickly, and was delicious. Our waiter never came back to refill our water, amd when we were finished eating, it was so hard to get our waiter's attention to get the bill. We ended up flagging another waiter down to find our waiter. It took a very long time to pay our bill and go. Overall the food was very good, but service was poor."

  • "The food is amazing! Such a variety - fresh fruit, salads, seafood, fish, pastries, brunch basics, prime rib, dimsum, dessert heaven. Definitely worth the price!"

  • "I was in visiting a friend and treated her to brunch at the Pan Pacific Hotel. It was a delicious experience and we both walked out extremely full. She is a vegetarian and she found a ton of options to eat and didn't even have room for the amazing dessert table. Next time I am in Vancouver I would definitely treat myself to brunch there again."

  • "For the price they charge, one would expect fine cuisine. But the lunch plates they served, Salmom and Black Cod were both dry and had no taste. This restaurant does not match up to other five stars hotel restaurants."

  • "Cafe Pacficia was closed for dining. Instead we had dinner at the lounge section."

  • "I had the parsnip soup and lamb and enjoyed them immensely. Serving size was generous for a big fellow like myself..:) The calamansi tart was a surprise treat, though a tad too sweet for me. Overall great casual atmosphere with great service in the forever popular PP Hotel."

  • "Food was delicious, service was very very good, overall a very relaxing experience for me and my friend. Price was exceptional for the quality. Would recommend to anyone."

  • "Our visit was during "dine out Vancouver". ..... delicious creme fraiche soup. We all chose the lamb which was tender and a very generous serving along with tasty vegetables on a bed of creamy risotto. The finale ... a delicious dessert tart , all for $28. Good service. ......waiter had no problem with the request from 1 guest to cook the lamb a bit more and for separate bills."

  • "I loved my food. My fiance enjoyed his, but wasn't quite as satisfied with his selection. Smaller sized portions, but quality flavouring and my lamb was cooked beautifully! Gorgeous views, nice setting."

  • "Had a look at the menu and decided to try it out. The food was amazing! APPY- we ordered both options. - Parsnip soup was 7.5/10 - Salad was 9/10 - I was surprised.. did not expect to like bree w oatmeal. ENTREE- we tried 2 of 3 - Sous Vide Lamb- so tender and perfectly cooked. 8/10 - Sable fish- has Asian influence mushroom broth... soo good. 8/10 Dessert- 1 option - Calamansi tart- would prefer it more tart and take away the caramel. 6.5/10 Definitely coming back to try other menu items!"

  • "I had possibly the worst and slowest service from the most confused waitress of all time. The food was superb but came in extremely small portions. Is this a fine dining restaurant or just a cafe?"
    Dined on 1/23/2014
  • "Excellent food. I ordered lamb shoulder which is very tender and juicy. My daughter ordered ling cod which has a lot of favour. The desert tart is little too crispy for me. Overall, a very good meal for my family."

  • "We had a great experience at Cafe Pacifica during the Dine Out Vancouver 2014 festival. There was an Italian buffet and live music on that night, but we decided on dining at the lounge side. We got a spectacular view of the north shore at our table, which is a must for a romantic dinner. The service was great as the waiters and waitresses were attentive. The food was beyond what we had expected for a $28.00 Dine Out menu from a higher end restaurant. Overall our night was unbelievable."
