This is a good restaurant for middle income earners for special occasions- birthdays or anniversaries. her her 65th birthday so we wanted to go somewhere special that had good seafood. We weren't disappointed !
Our experienced waiter was great - he learned of our celebrations and surprised us with a fabulous dessert that we all could share.

My wife was wearing a dark outfit and her linen white napkin was replaced with a black linen napkin. Her lobster with the white truffle risotto was superb. My sole amandine was cooked to perfection. This is the best seafood I've had since moving to Texas from Calif. Monterey, Carmel, and San Francisco have nothing on this wonderful restaurant as far as the food and service are concerned. One isn't rushed here and the time between servings is just right. We spent a wonderful two hours enjoying splendid dining. I highly recommend this establishment if you're looking for an experience in dining the way it should be. The delectable food paired with an amicable and fast service is what you get here. I loved the three onion crusted sea bass, while my husband ordered the red snapper which was great too. The portions were so generous that we probably could have shares a dish, lol. For dessert we tried their all time famous pecan ball and yes,it lived up to its reputation. I had a chopped shrimp salad. Before digging in I asked what dressing. In about 30 seconds the chef appeared with a lengthy description of ingredients and why. It was totally delicious. My lunch partner had a crepe salad that he also complimented. The place is a gem, a white table-clothed bistro in a small corner of an upscale shopping center. Service was practically instantaneous and warm. Prices moderate-- actually low for the quality of food. Only downside was the noise. The place was filled with business types and social meeting, all conversing loudly. The restaurant was over capacity and the staff, especially the bartenders, kept it comfortable and exciting. I prefer a big crowd because that is where the action is. The bartenders kept our glasses full without missing a beat. The waiters were on cue. I had the red snapper and it was overcooked, but the atmosphere and service made up for it. I will definitely keep going back. Even though it is seafood, I will be having the rack of lamb next time. The service is top-notch, old world elegance. Walter is especially good, but the entire management and staff are fantastic. The freshest seafood, experty prepared, is the best in North Texas. The bartender should teach other bartenders how to manage the fast-paced bar scene, whilst still maintaining graciousness, which is an art lost to most.
