While planning my visit to Washington DC I looked up "Best Restaurants in Georgetown" I wasn't dissapointed. My daughter and I arrived and were seated at a nice table within a few minutes, our host and waiter were inpeccable. The food was perfectly cooked and the sauces were light and perfectly seasoned.
Dessert, a favourite course, was sublime, I couldnt ask for better.
I live in San Francisco, a great "Food Town" so i was impressed with the freshness, quality of ingrediants and the service we received.

By the time we left around 7pm was getting pretty noisy but worth it. Food was excellent - portions on the smaller side but the quality and selection outstanding. Arrived on a busy Friday night and asked that we get a table away from the busy bar. We are not regulars, but the staff could not have been more accommodating. We did have to wait a bit, but that was to be expected. Food was very good and the wait staff attentive. Going out on Valentine's can be a questionable call, but my friend and I wanted to live it up. It was her first time there and she wants to return immediately. Although packed, we were treated as if we were the only customers, the service and attention to detail was exemplory. We were promptly seated by the windows at 7pm as per my request, and our meal was divine. The calimari and zucchini is a must; between the new veal pepperadelle pasta dish I had (a recommendation from our server) and my friends spicy lobster, desserts to die for, and a bottle of wine that not only was affordable but excellent!
