First time stopping in to cafe mezzo. Really enjoyed to food and service. I'm not sure it was an off night, but didn't seem to be much of a dinner crowd. Things definitely picked up as we were heading out, so may be more of a late night scene.

Celebrated 22nd anniversary here. Have been to other pricier Greek restaurants but Cafe Mezo had good prices and the food was delicious. The ginger mojito was also a hit. Will be back.

This is one of those hidden gems that you kinda don't want to share bc it's such a great spot you know once ppl find out about it, it'll be tough to get a table on Friday nights. We've been eating here at least 3x a month since they opened and it has quickly become our go to spot in the neighborhood -fantastic food -great ambience -great patio -awesome staff -extremely reasonable prices We love med food and patio dining, and cafe mezo gets an A+ in both categories!

We enjoyed the food very much, but we had to wait a very long time for our check, as our waiter was doubling as bartender and we could not get his attention, which made us late for a concert. The tables were packed too closely together, so the waiter had to keep asking my wife to move her chair so I could get to the table next to us. The worst thing of all, however, was two large-screen TVs, one directly in my field of vision and one in my wife's, that showed nothing but ultimate fighting competitions. I don't know about you, but the last thing I want to watch while having a relaxing romantic dinner with my wife is two guys with bloody mouths smashing each other's faces in with their elbows.

Having just arrived back in Atlanta from a magical summer vacation in Turkey, I was intrigued to find that a relatively new spot had opened in midtown with Turkish cuisine. I'm so glad I took the leap of faith and TRIED this place that is located in midtown in a lovingly restored old house with a beautiful wrap around porch, by a lovely man from Istanbul who really knows what he is doing. The Turkish chef, also from Istanbul, turns true delights out from his kitchen-the lamb kebab is better than any that I've EVER had (anywhere)...and the baklava is homemade and absolutely delicious as are the fresh baked breads. Belly dancing rounds out a fun and DELICIOUS evening....must try!!

We had a large group to celebrate my birthday. The waiter was great. The food was superb! Beautiful belle dancer to entertain. We had a great time for a last minute reservation. Thanks for being so accommodating. I understand that they have been in business for a short time and I want them to stay because they have a nice set up and great food. I am already making plans to go back soon.

I booked a reservation for 20 for my birthday but had never been here before. They gave us our own room, service was wonderful, the food was delicious, hookah was superb, and a bellydancer even stopped by a few times to give us bellydancing lessons. The house it's in is quaint and the atmosphere is great. Looking forward to going back!

We (of course) got stuck in Atlanta traffic and were running late. The service was initially very slow. But when we let the staff know that we were trying to make a show at the Fox, they were more than accommodating. The food came right out. I only wish we could have savored every bite. It was fantastic! Everything was fresh and nicely seasoned. The ambiance was great, too. A gentle breeze on the outside deck...live music...I am anxious to come back!

The food was very good, but the best part of it was you did not feel like you were sitting at your neighbor's table. There is a nice openness to the plan that makes the space seem gracious and welcoming. We sat on the porch and it was very comfortable. Even though you are on one of mid-town's major streets, the traffic noise does not overwhelm the experience. It was very easy to carry on a conversation.

This is a NICE new spot with FREE PARKING off of Juniper! My daughter, who is 9, got a hamburger and fries. The fries were AWESOME! They are the ones that are crispy on the outside, and melt in your mouth when you eat them. The hamburger . . .meh . . . not so much. It was a little dry, but next time she is going to get a chicken pita sandwich. We went on Mother's Day and they had a buffet. OMG - INCREDIBLE! They started out with appetizers at the bar, and then we were served spanakopita, meats, falafel, lamb, oh the list goes on - - the chef brought each dish to us table side. Who does that? It was great!!! I don't know what I ate for dessert - but it was delicious.

I had lunch at Cafe Mezo this past weekend. I sat on the porch with a book and enjoyed the quiet Midtown setting. The service was outstanding; they were very attentive and accommodating. I had the hummus to start (delicious!) and the grilled chicken kebabs with a side of shakshouka. The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the shakshouka was the perfect compliment. I will definitely return to Cafe Mezo.

My wife and I went before a show at the Fox and asked - How have we not already been here? We've treid a lot of Mediterranean foods in the Atlanta area and this is some of the best. We absolutely will be back. We started with a selection of three cold Mezes: hummus, Shakshouka, and Dolmades. All three were excellent. Shakshouka was new to me - I have been missing out. The grape leaves were outstanding, some of the best we have had. The hummus was also excellent. I had lentil soup and another meze, the Sigara Boregi Pastry fill with feta and herbs. Fine choices. My wife had Lamb Sish Kebab and was quite happy. We enjoyued sharing Kunefe for desert. The wine list is good and the Argentinian malbec we select complimentst the meal well.

Nice recent addition to Midtown. Menu has similarity with other Turkish restaurants in the area but Mezo is more refined. Everything is fresh and made in house, breads are especially well-made. We tried a mix of cold mezze and one warm and shared a main dish. Enjoyed all of it, in particular the carrot salad and sauté of eggplants, peppers and potato with herbs, lemon and olive oil. Lamb kebab was tender and well seasoned. FYI as of now restaurant does not have its alcohol license so call ahead to determine need to BYOB.
