This Upscale neighborhood favorite, a handsome Art Deco bistro, is holding its own nicely after many years of success. The attentive, knowledgeable service is a joy in a time when such amenity is slipping in Manhattan, even in expensive restaurants. Cafe Luxembourg is perfect for birthdays, or special celebrations and the aged black angus steak is always a consistent winner. It never disappoints, and didn't on this occasion. Long may it flourish!

Been going to Luxembourg for 25 years. Consistently, very good to excellent. The staff is my prime reason for returning - Warm, friendly, and efficient. My last meal, the pan-seared halibut, was superb. Our waiter, George, was at the top of his game. A lovely, lovely experience.
