  • "Eating on the balcony was a treat. Food was very good and service was great."

  • "Everything was super. Great food and impeccable, knowledgeable and friendly service by John. A little loud on a busy Saturday night; however, the cuisine and service made up for it."

  • "First time visit to Cafe Lurcat, excellent service and the food presentation and flavor was great. They offer indoor and outdoor dining, couldn't eat outside this night, too windy, but next time will request outdoor seating - they have great views of 5th Avenue. The atmosphere is fun and casual downstairs a little more sedate and romantic upstairs but love the fact that they have two bars, allows for much faster service than at most restaurants. This restaurant is a must!"

  • "Our dinner experience at Lurcat was not a good one. The service was very slow, we waited more than five minutes for the table to be cleared. The noise level is very high as are the dinner prices. We were handed menues with smudges and stains. We noticed that the room in general needs decorating attention, lampshades are very stained."

  • "Terrific dining experience, very attentive and knowledgable waiter with a great view of 5th Avenue, Naples. "

  • "From the day it opened it has been my favorite restaurant. I travel a bit and eat in many fine establishments. This continues to impress me. Avid fan!!"

  • "We've been away from Lurcat for too long! Can't wait to go back."
    Dined on 4/18/2014
  • "Given a table near the wait station and upstairs bar which turned out to be noisy and very busy with wait staff hurrying back and forth past our table. Service was extremely slow. They need to hire more wait staff to make service more efficient. We were left lingering too long before even a drinks order was taken. The food was very good but with so many other good restaurants in very close proximity we would not go to Lurcat Cafe again due to the poor service."

  • "Have eaten here several times and the food was good but not as outstanding as it has been at other times. For example, the apple, cheese and chive sald seemed to be lacking in cheese."

  • "We were looking forward to dining for the first time at Cafe Lurcat, since a friend had recommended it, but from the moment our waiter took our drink order, we felt very unwelcome. We decided to only have one glass of wine and told this to our waiter. He showed us his disappointment right away as well as throughout the evening, kept asking us if we wanted a bottle or more wine. It turned a perfectly nice evening into a bust. The service was rather slow also with our food, which was very tasty, yet again we were shown disappointment from our waiter since we weren't very hungry and just ordered a few appetizers. Even with this, the meal was still near $100. Will not go there again."

  • "A special dinner with my wife and daughter. Reservations was easy. Everything was excellent. Food was fabulous and was the highlight! Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, but not overly so. We will definitely return."

  • "After one average experience we once again received great food and service. Thank goodness our last visit was not the new norm. All four of us agreed that our entrees were delicious."

  • "I took my clients out for dinner at cafe lurcat and truly enjoyed the evening. The service is always exceptional as is the food delicious and every meal should end with plate of cinnamon donuts!"

  • "I have had the pleasure of dining at Café Lucrat 3 times in the past 2 months. This place is GREAT and best of all, CONSISTENT. It's so easy to make a reservation at Open Table...I had to change my past reservation 3 times and it was never a problem. The restaurant is clean, comfortable (I happen to like a nice padded chair), service is above and beyond every time. The menu is fabulous and the side dishes are TO DIE FOR! (Homemade mashed potatoes and broiled brussel sprouts are my personal fav's). The salads are GREAT too! They make an excellent White Grapefruit Cosmo which is so good you'll want to have two. We love this place and it's always our first choice. I would highly recommend it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed."

  • "Nice menu and fabulous service! The quality of each of the 4 different entrees were 5 star! Really worth returning. I was disappointed in the upstairs outside balcony. It was very sunny and hot without enough umbrellas for shade. You are too high up to see and enjoy watching the parade of people. I would not recommend this location."
    Dined on 4/5/2014
  • "The quality of the pot roast was not up to par.We and to return it and received another entry without a question. To compensate us, the Restaurant did not charge us for the dinner. Despite this ,we will be back."

  • "Wonderful meal. Our table on the balcony was unique and beautiful. It can get a little warm before sunset so bring your shades and ask for table near an umbrella. Menu had a number of great options. I picked the apple, cheese and chive salad and sea scallops and hubby had the BLT salad with the Lovster risotto. Great wine list. Server brought my husband a sample of a white wine that would pair well with his entree, nice touch ! Overall great experience. A little on the pricey side but to be expected for the area and level of dining. They do have a limited early bird menu from 4-6:30 for those looking for a deal."

  • "Was delightd that all 5 of us had excellent meals. They were well prepared and well presented. Our server was pleasant, professional and saw our needs and took care of them without being intrusive. Will certainly return when we are in Naples. they acted like they were glad to have us as customers."

  • "Great food, service, and ambiance. Noise level inside is hard to bear. Request outdoor table."

  • "Lurcat always delivers! Had a lovely drink at the bar during Happy Hour, went upstairs to our favorite part of the restaurant for dinner, had an outstanding meal followed by those amazingly succulent little donuts. What more can you ask for? A perfect evening! And the service is always top notch as well. One of our favorite dining spots in Naples...and they keep the early dining menu available until 6:30... Very smart!"

  • "This is our third time eating here. Once again, Café Lurcat shines though & through. My wife & I recently went to celebrate my birthday & were not disappointed. The food is always top notch (try the pot roast, it's made from short ribs that are so tender). The atmosphere is vibrant & charming. A wonderful spot to dine al fresco on 5th Avenue, which is always hopping. Finally, Stanley our waiter was just terrific & helped to make this a wonderful evening. We can't wait to go back."

  • "This has been one of favorite restaurants in the 5th Ave/3rd St area, but we have noticed a distinct decrease in the quality of the food over the past few months. Specifically, the yellowtail snapper, my wife's favorite, has been only mediocre the past 3 visits. The lamb dish, which was excellent the first time I tried it, was worse than mediocre this last time. The shrimp fried rice, French fries and donuts continue to be outstanding. Hopefully, the food will improve when we go back in the fall."

  • "The most wonderful dinner, everything was absolutely perfect, a true dining experience"

  • "One of our very favourites. Over the years of going to Lurcat, we are still impressed with the food preparation and service. It is such a bonus when the weather permits us to sit outside on the balcony."

  • "I must say first impressions are lasting ones and Cafe Lurcat will linger in my mind for a long time. The service was impeccable, the food was top notch. I would highly recommend it and if the weather allows by all means sit outside. The view of the sun set over 5th Ave from the second floor balcony was gorgeous. I am sure to make this a tradition each time I am back in town."

  • "Super menu & meal for only $29!! from 5pm -6:30p... We had our adult daughter here in Naples & wanted an dining experience not just eating. We found it here & for a reasonable price. The apple manchiego cheese lime salad was yummy!! but don't miss the pot roast!! I also loved the red snapper fish with lemon butter sauce which was a special that night. You also get warm cinnamon sugar mini donuts at the end of your meal!!"

  • "This continues to be my favorite restaurant in Naples! Such a fun, hip spot w/delish food...capped off with donuts!!! What's wrong with that?! We usually eat downstairs which seems less formal, but have eaten upstairs too. I love eating outside so the front porch downstairs (and upstairs) appeals to me. If you have a group of 15-20, they have a private room upstairs. It's a perfect spot."

  • "This is one of my favorite restaurants in Naples. We often go for the early bird dinner which has a nice selection of items and is always top notch. The pot roast is the best I have ever eaten and the apple/cheese salad is delightfully different and good. Don't miss the mini donuts for dessert. Always great service, always great food, lovely atmosphere."

  • "My wife and I are Naples residents who don't dine out much and we were looking for some place special to celebrate our anniversary. We choose Café Lurcat because it was one of the most highly rated restaurants on 5th Ave that wasn't Italian. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is impressively designed and decorated with a upscale but not pretentious feel. It is a lively place, but not too noisy and the service was excellent. The food was also great, although I unfortunately had them overcook my steak ("medium well" was more like "well done"). We very much enjoyed our meal and the ambiance. Would recommend without qualification."

  • "We were entertaining out-of -towners and selected Cafe Lurcat because of our previous visits there and its 5th Ave. Location. We had a balcony seat overlooking 5th Ave. Our Waiter Kevin was knowledgeable , friendly and accomodating..very likeable ,talented guy. He recommended many dishes and showed us we could order off the "Early Menu" and stll have a great meal. We did and it was! We all exclaimed over the very delicious fish dishes..Yellow Tail Snapper and Striped Bass..The best we have had with memorable sauces..Delivered promptly by 4 servers , hot and perfectly cooked. Our guests were very impressed and called the next day to thank us for finding such a wonderful dining experience. Thank you!"

  • "Everything was good - pot roast was chewy but tasty and designer martini uninspired. Other dishes we ordered could easily be presented better - snapper, chicken, scallops. Would return but not at the top of the list."

  • "We enjoy this place as the food is consistently good and well as the service. On Wednesdays (even during Season) they have 1/2 price off their wines by the bottle."
    Dined on 3/26/2014
  • "We've enjoyed dining here for years, the food is consistently delicious and they have the best early-bird menu around. We prefer to sit upstairs, either on the balcony or in a booth, as it's lighter and open and the balcony offers a bird's eye view of the busy life below. Food prep is wonderful, creative and delicious..you simply can't go wrong here."
