We got Fire Clams, quesadilla, and coconut shrimps for appz. I recommend the jambalaya! It was so good. Everything was cooked so perfectly."

After dinner, we continued our evening with dancing , what a great surprise! All personnel are extremely pleasant and helpful."

  • "The restaurant is nice and clean but the wait is too long to be sat at your table when you had a reserved time. When you order your food it takes to long my reservation was at 8:15 and I left at 10:42 it just takes too long.I also had 2 birthday lady's with me which this was there birthday dinner and they didn't even get a happy birthday and it was noted on the reservation and top of that 1 of the order was not good it had to go back and get exchanged for another dish which she just took it to go cause things were taking to long so for my first time going it will be my last time going. But the restaurant is nice."

  • "The food was delicious! The rice and beans could use a little salt but that you can add yourself. Definitely ask the waiter/waitress about food in regards to how its made, ingredients or anything else to help make an informed decision. The drinks are great. Waitstaff was very attentive. They have a lounge downstairs that you can go to for drinks and dancing if you ate dinner there. Its 25 and over. Overall great experience and we will definitely be returning soon."

  • "We have dined at Havana several times and have always enjoyed it. We shared a stuffed ripe plantain as an appetizer. It was perfect. Moist and sweet with a delicious savory meat filling. For my entree, I tried the shrimp mofungo, a traditional Latin dish made with plantain bananas and topped with shrimp in a mild garlic sauce. My husband enjoyed a Churrasco steak and shrimp dish as well. Always a delight. Our waitress Gabby was terrific, very warm and helpful. Love Havana!"

  • "Cafe Havana offers typical Cuban cuisine, somewhat sweet but tasty. Menu had a good selection and the service was very attentive. A little pricey but not too bad. In general, it was an enjoyable experience. I would go back."

  • "This was my fourth or fifth time at this restaurant, by my first time frequenting with my husband. I usually go after work with friends because they have $5 mojitos. You can't beat that. My husband thought the food was great. I will say he was concerned when we first pulled up and I told him to turn by the fake, lite palm trees. However, when he entered he was pleasantly surprised by the soft and contemporary decor. He even bought a cigar at the close of dinner. I would say certainly give the place a try, you won't be dissapointed. And, certainly if you love coconut shrimp, worth trying."

  • "We made a reservation several days in advance. Thank goodness we did..it was a packed Saturday evening. We got there early had a round at the bar then we were seated. The staff were friendly and everything was seamless. Food was excellent. We had the seafood paella and the skirt steak. We will go back again for sure"

  • "Very loud. Hard to have a conversation. Waiter was drowned out by noise level. Food and service were great. Will definitely go back, but may wear earplugs."

  • "Our reservation was at 8:30pm on a Saturday night and we were seated after 9pm. The restaurant was over crowded and very noisy. I believe this night the restaurant was trying to serve more people than they could possibly handle. By the time we were given a table our dining experience was already disappointing. We enjoyed our food, but it was late in arriving. The restaurant does not hand out devices to let you know when your table is ready. There was a flow of people from the bar to the reservation desk trying to find out when they would be seated. The pre meal experience was poor and the staff did what they could. If we go again, it will be on a week night and hope that the service will be on time and the place less noisy."

  • "This was the most AMAZING dining experience we have had in a long time. From the Coconut water Martinis to the appetizers, and of course the main entrée. I had the steak and shrimp and my hubby had the rojo beef. Amazing! We will absolutely become regulars! We can't wait to bring our friends and share our new dining discovery!"

  • "The location, look, & club made me think this would be an awesome experience. The food was okay, not great, and overpriced. The drinks were decent. The club had about 10 people & the DJ was not very good. I've been looking for a nice spot to go with my wife. I love latin music & wanted this to be it, but it wont be. Back to Port Jeff."

  • "we had a great dinner there. We split a Classic CUban for an appetizer which was excellent. The salmon was fresh and prepared with lots of veggies. The fireplace in the room made the ambiance real nice. there was a party of 20 which only slightly affected the noise level. Would highly recommend."

  • "I have wanted to try Cafe Havana for quite some time. We started off with a chicken skewer app. the chicken was chewy and gross. For our entree we ordered the seafood paella for two. I feel as though I paid for a huge bowl of extremely salty rice. There was barely any seafood in it. Really sad it was such a disappointment."

  • "I chose to go to Café Havana to celebrate my birthday dinner. The staff was extremely accommodating and satisfactorily answered any questions I had to menu items. The food was excellent. The only criticism I have is that I asked for a margarita with a house tequila as opposed to a sipping tequila like Patron, and when the bill came, I noticed that I was charged $14 to a Patron margarita. I have no idea why my request was not acknowledged. I didn't make a stink because the meal was really good, good enough for me to return."

  • "I loved this restaurant. The mojitos are the best I've had outside of the bacardi factory in Puerto Rico. The fried plantain appetizer was amazing. The service was great. I will definately be back."

  • "The coconut shrimp was phenomenal, out of this world and quite possibly the best coconut shrimp I've ever had. The ambiance was great. Lighting was somewhat dim, ideal for a romantic dinner. The service was outstanding."

  • "Our food was very expensive for what it was. My husband had the paella and it was dry and filled with rice and just a few shrimp and scallops with clams. The price was high and not enough seafood to warrant the price or the taste. Also, I had the chicken wrapped with cheese and vegetables. It also was average, chicken was dry and tasted very bland, this too was very expensive for the poor quality. When we went to the valet to get out car we had a problem. They parked our car next to another car and could not get it out without scraping our car. Also the valet attendant had fallen and when he sat in our car we had his blood stain on our seat. Would not go back again."
