Cafe FiorelloBest Mozarella Ever!Among many wonderful things at lunch at Fiorello's, prior to a Lincoln Center concert, the amazing wines by the glass and the mozarella cheese were outstanding. You will also get some treats fresh from the oven brought to your table-- fantastico!6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial Send OffA few of us got together to have a going away dinner for my nephew. The service was great starting right away with our maitre d'. The food was amazing, even my gluten free pasta. You HAVE to have the mozzarella!! Best ever!! Atmosphere is lively and fun and there is wonderful outdoor dining that we New Yorkers can't get enough of.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMA great treat! we were ableA great treat! we were able to sit at the Cecilia Bartolli table, lovely and quiet in the front. My granddaughter ate the whole of her lasagna, and ordered a mousse and whipped cream desert, and did not fall asleep in the ballet!6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMFlexableI came 30 min. early for my reservation and they accomodated my party no problem. Staff is attentive despite the crowds. Menu offers a variety of good selections. Bought an enjoyable bottle of Italian win listed as a "Hidden Gem." Iconic location acorss from Lincoln Center. All good.6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe are vegan and found theWe are vegan and found the selections with antipasta very tasty and satisfying to meet our food needs.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFun ServiceVery friendly - celebration with group of friends. Waiter was friendly, funny and thoughtful. Great food - and waiter's recommendations were spot on for wine and dinner selections. Veal paremsan was incredible! Noisy but fun environment. We all loved it!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat traditional Italian food!Went with my wife and son. Had a great bottle of wine that was suggested to us, loved the antipasto, and fabulous entrees. Great energetic atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend a vist6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent musselsMussels are steamed in a lobster stock with crisp string beans floating in the broth. No fries, instead focaccia for soaking.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed it as always, exceptEnjoyed it as always, except the small house salad found it expensive and uninteresting.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Choice in Lincoln Center AreaAlways a great choice for dinner before a show at Lincoln Center. The service is friendly and very attentive and gets you to the show on time. There are many ways to go with the foods offered. You can start off your meal with as many of the tapas-style appetizers on view in platters around the large bar area. We opted for the house-made burrata mozzarella & tomato appetizer on the menu, and found the oozing cheese perfectly gooey and delicious. My scallop entree was done "just right" with transparent centers, and contained not one grain of sand, as I have sadly experienced in several other good restaurants. My husband also enjoyed his branzino fillets and crunchy roasted potatoes & veggies very much. We'll be back next pre-show .6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMI have eaten at fiorello overI have eaten at fiorello over 100 times over the years..it consistently produces good for and good experience in the heat of Lincoln center.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat prior to Lincoln CenterAmazing how beautifully they serve you and get you out in time for a concert. Plus, delicious food.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMeating in the rainwe sat at our dry table during the deluge before the ballet on Monday and enjoyed the street scene and the delicious food.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAll three of us enjoyed ourAll three of us enjoyed our lunch and were pleased withering changing things to suit our food issues.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for Pre and Post theater!Service a little slow but very friendly. A bit hectic.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMOur dining experience wasOur dining experience was absolutely wonderful. The food, the staff, the ambience couldn't of been better. We were eating before going on to a play and it was the perfect spot.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMNice Lincoln Center LocationWe ate at this restaurant for the first time last weekend, and it was a good experience overall. The waitstaff was very attentive, and knowledgeable about the cocktails as well as the food. The antipasto dishes were delicious, and the strawberry margarita was divine on that hot evening, made with fresh berries, it was very tasty. I had the scallop dish, and my husband pasta. It was all very good. Nice selection of wines.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA rave for one of my favesCafe Fiorello is one of my favorite restaurants. The service is friendly and professional, the atmosphere sophisticated casual, the food delicious, and if you're going to a performance at Lincoln Center, they always manage to get you out on time. One of the most memorable dishes is the veal parmigiana, which is made from a huge veal chop (not your usual cutlet) that has been pounded flat to the size of a pretty big pizza. I shared one last week and took home enough for two more meals. The antipasto bar is visually appealing and offers lots of goodies to have as starters or a main meal if you wish. Pizzas are also great, as are the pastas. In nice weather, there are lots of tables outside for people watching and a view of Lincoln Center.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGood eats at Fiorello!Good food, interesting selections, good service, fun, friendly, great before Lincoln Center performances, all at a reasonable price.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for pre-Lincoln CenterGreat food, very good service, very helpful and friendly. Good "festive" atmosphere, not a sleek or uber-sophisticated atmospehre. But fun and lively. And love the home baked cookies as a freebie. Prices are not inexpensive, but considering the neighborhood and next door Boulud Sud--admittedly a more cool & chic, but at least 50% more cost for food no better.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat find!Had dinner before the ballet. Delicious food & good service. Waiter very aware of the time line before the show.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMmixed experienceThe waiter doens't sound friendly when talking to us and behaves very impatient. Prosciutto and Arugula tastes bad5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMRight Near Lincoln CenterPerfect spot for a pre or post theater lunch or dinner. Friendly and accommodating staff from greeters to wait staff. We were there for dinner after a Sunday matinee, so it was quiet and made for a nice early dinner. Food was delicious and well prepared. We didn't have the pizza, but it looked great, so we might consider it for our next visit. On your way out, help yourself to a piece of dark chocolate at the door - yummy!W5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMbusy Lincoln Center restaurantNice atmosphere with signs of tables reserved for various theatre and music and TV luminaries that you sit at. Brunch is very nice and if you get there before 12 the place is pretty quiet. Later on in the day every table is filled and it's abuzz and you MUST have reservations.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways great. :)The food and service is always good. I've been going here after or before the NYC Ballet and have never been disappointed. :)5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful brunch menu and locationI thought the brunch menu was excellent. There were great choices and I did not realize it came with a complimentary drink and a bread basket filled with goodies.
The restaurant was very accommodating as I changed my entree slightl.y.
Very good choice for anybody going to Lincoln Center..5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, but bring patienceThis spot has wonderful food but its very chaotic before a show, even if you have reservations, so be sure to bring your patience!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMContinues to be wonderfulFood is consistently delicious with adventurous takes on old favorites: pizzas have crusts that are millimeters thin & a foot wide; pastas are fresh & authentic. There is a huge appetizer bar from which you can select combinations to your liking: several vegetarian choices, both hot and cold selections. We chose the homemade burrata mozzarella platter - phenomenal. We also shared the artichokes alla giudea, lightly crisped baby artichokes. .
But they don't stop at Italian cuisine: the fish freshly succulent, and their steaks are top quality, rivaling the best steakhouse cuts.
We have only had the best experiences at any of the Fireman Group restaurants, and seek them out when we will be in one of their neighborhoods. Buon appetito!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFortunately I came early becauseFortunately I came early because they did not have. My reservation.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent mealWe have eaten here years ago-it is a perfect location before Lincoln Center events Our food was quite delicious-better than I remembered it and our service (by waiter Brian) was perfect and caring. Maybe the best service we have had in a restaurant for quite a while. They actually paid attention to our request for a quiet table. The warm chocolate cookies brought around on a baking sheet were a wonderful touch as was the plate of chocolate.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMA bit of classic Italy on BroadwayWe recently had a delicious lunch at Café Fiorello and what a pleasant experience it was. We were properly greeted by the host as we entered the restaurant and were shown our table right away. The service was very gracious and professional and, of course, the food we were served was top quality. This is the second time that I have eaten at this establishment and believe me, it won't be the last!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMa beautiful nightIt was a lovely night to eat outside and we had a very good table right on the corner so not boxed in by other tables. It was private and had a nice view of the passing parade. It is still very noisy there right on Broadway but worth it anyway. The food is very good. The prices are very high but all in all a good meal, nice service and right near Lincoln Center. PS the play was good too.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMafter graduationWe needed a place close to Lincoln Center to entertain some guests in from out of town for a graduation. They loved it, food was very good as was the service.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMCafe Fiorello - Did It Again!Where else, in the middle of our busy, crazy but wonderful City, can one find service like that at Cafe Fiorello? Although we are "regulars" for the pre-ballet hour, who would imagine that our favorite waitress would remember us and greet us like family? Where else, when we were seated in another section, would our favorite waitress make sure that our waiter would be so lovely, attentive and generous? Not to mention the tuna, which was perfectly prepared and presented. Cafe Fiorello - the best that New York City has to offer.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMFavorite Lincoln Center establishmeCafe Fiorello is my favorite restaurant when going to Lincoln Center. The antipasto bar is a fun place to eat, you always meet interesting people and the antipasto food choices are all delicious, so always hard to pick. The waiters and host staff are all fun, friendly and extremely accomodating. They understand the needs of the customers, especially pre-theater and treat this one like a Queen!5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect spot for lunchIf you are looking for a great spot for lunch in a perfect location, this is it. We shared a pizza and it was the best I have had in NYC.
Our waiter was most accomodating to our request for a custom-made salad. All ingredients were fresh and delicious. I can't wait to go back!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMcafe fiorelloOne of my favorite New York restaurants-so convenient to Lincoln Center-excellent service and cuisine along with very attractive ambience giving anyone attending a performance at the Center lovely food prior to or after the perfomance.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMcould not have been more accommodatcould not have been more accommodating
excellent waitstaff and food5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful time/most accommodatingA great celebration lunch May 20th with son, daughter in law and 6 week old grandchild. Staff was attentive and eager to get us comfortable, safe seating. We changed our seat after they sat us where I had requested to sit because it turned out not to be good for the baby carrier. The food was great. Servings were adequate and the bread was generous and fresh. The main courses did not come out all together and we were offered antipasto on the house to fill in. We declined and just enjoyed our conversation, ate and waited for the slightly late plates. We sat a long time and no one rushed us out or bothered us. The food is pricey, but it is very good and the place is fun and pretty. Highly recommend and look forward to eating there again.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Lincoln Center Area EateryWonderful spot for pre- or post-theater dining. Food is excellent, with lots of "finds" on the menu.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGraduation delightTook the graduate here to celebrate! Hadn't eaten much all day and got there starving. Started off with the veggie/seafood antipasto and mozzarella - just awesome. Then our main courses were amazing too - the avacado/crab dish was the best!!!
Never rushed - great service!

Don't forget the chocolate on the way out.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways there for us!Cafe Fiorello is reliably a delicious, pleasant before-ballet spot. "Our" waitress is wonderful. Thank you!!!5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ambiance for dinnerGreat ambiance for dinner before or after theatre; very attentive staff and good food5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMagnificent !!!!It's an amazing find in the city especially with so many restaurants to choose from in the city. My family absolutely love love it.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMHigh energy, great foodHow Fiorello's manages to serve great food and offer great service in a place that is always jammed is amazing to me. Being right across from Lincoln Center they are always busy (reservations a must) but they always make you welcome and we have never been disappointed in the food. The Caesar salad is particularly wonderful and if you want to save on your dinner order the special lasagna for 2. Or splurge on the spaghetti carbonara. The tables for 2 are close but you do meet very interesting people@5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMLincoln center gemGreat for before or after show. Attentive staff. Great food. Lasagne special was fantastic. Chairs and people are very close together.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic waiterWe informed the waiter of our Met curtain and he took care of everything. We sat in an upper alcove off the main floor....it was quiet and great. We often dine here and always felt special thanks to the entire staff....from the front podium to the chocolate breaker which we enjoy on our departure.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
