A forum for Lincoln Center’s performing arts culture for nearly 30 years, Café Fiorello features a sprawling bar filled with more than 50 kinds of antipasti. Finished in warm wood, brass and mirrors, the main dining room suggests a timeless charm. In addition to the hot and cold antipasto specialties of vegetables and seafood, the menu features updated Italian classics and specialty dishes, as well as a selection of seafood, steak, veal & pasta.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "For years and years we have been coming to enjoy the antipasto bar. The team behind the bar is very friendly and accommodating. It's just very relaxing to select your own dishes from right in front of you while taking in the scene of Arts patrons across the street from Lincoln Center..."

  • "Lunch staff was wonderful. We had to wait for the last person to arrive and the staff was helpful and solicitous without being annoying. My husband and I decided to order since we had a performance at Lincoln Center. Out guest came in a little later and ordered. The kitchen staff was able to get all three orders out at the same time. Points for the kitchen. We we even given a table inside (outside was unavailable) at the front so we could easily see out guest. Points for the hosts. All-in-all, it was a lovely experience with no sense of having to hurry through our very tasty lunch."

  • "This was one of the nicest times we have had at Cafe Fiorello. The brunch items were very good, with Bellini, Bloody Mary or mimosa included for no extra cost. The thin crust pizza is always a treat."

  • "For years Cafe Fiorello was our go-to choice after a performance at Lincoln Center. Due to my mother's failing health - we haven't gone as much in recent years so when the opportunity to take her to see ABT'a Coppelia presented itself we knew where to have dinner after! Suprisingly, the menu is much more expensive than we remembered. She would have liked veal chop parmigiana but not for $50(!) Opted for the lesser-priced specialty - an open lasagna for her. Husband had the veal scallapine marsala and I three clams pasta. All were tasty - though lasagna too big & rich. The true stars here? From maitre D to bus boy - we couldn't have asked for kinder nor better service. That is what makes me say - yes, we will return again and again."

  • "Two of us who have been to Café Fiorello often, made the wrong choice this time. The lump crab omelet was tasteless."

  • "The food n service was very good. Notable to try are the HUGE veal chop and the lobster spaghetti, YUM!"

  • "A neighborhood gem with good italian food as it should be in every restaurant in the city. We've tried their pizza, pasta and desert and it's always delicious no matter what time of the day or day of the week. Consistency in food flavor, great service and great indoor or outdoor seating is what makes Fiorello a gem."

  • "It was nice to be outside and convenient to Lincoln Center but the food was really bad."

  • "Cafe Fiorello's chief advantage is its location. It is just a block from Lincoln Center . Our experience this time was better than it has been in the past because we were seated in a better area . Some areas have a very high noise level and others - close to the entrance - are too warm for comfort in the summer . The receptionist asked each person about their seating preference , which is a nice touch . Our food was very good although service was a little spotty ,probably because it was a very busy time. We did think that the prices were a little high . We split a salad and each had a veal entree. This plus 2 wines and one drink came to $172 - without tip."

  • "Great food, great service, GREAT CHOCOLATE MOUSSE! Perfect place for dinner and a show."

  • "The thin crust pizzas are our favorite. Add a few salads, a bottle of wine and chocolate mousse for dessert! The pizzas used to be on the menu all of the time. They are now only available on the menu after 8:00 PM. Order them anyway. You will get them. You will not be sorry."

  • "Dinner was fantastic! Our group of five--2 adults, 3 children--sat beneath the outdoor canopy as the rain poured and the city continued to scurry. Our children were pleasantly accommodated with Shirley Temples and penne with marinara, while the manager approached, chatted and drew smiley faces at place settings for each child. The adults ordered the lemon sole and shrimp. We both adored our food!!!! Our waiter saw a break in the clouds/rain and delivered our check pronto, ensuring for us a less soggy return home. Couldn't ask for a better dining experience!"

  • "The bus stops just in front of Cafe Fiorello, and Lincoln Center is just across the street. Our dinner arrived promptly and was delicious. Carl, our waiter, was quite professional for such a young person, and served us in the European manner. All in all, a winner of a restaurant choice!"

  • "The food is amazing but the staff seals the deal. The entire crew at the bar might very well be the best in Manhattan."

  • "We had a group of seven of us and they provided a quiet table in the back for us so we were able to speak and hear each other. The service was great and the food delicious. When we arrived the usual dark chocolate was not at the entry, when we asked they explained it wasn't out yet. Within five minutes they brought us our own plate full of the delicious chocolate. The waitress was able to take some time to take our picture and we did not feel at all rushed. Great restaurant, great food and we will definitely be returning!"

  • "We had one of the best dining experiences we have ever had! Our waiter could not have been more pleasant. He knew when to give us more time and when we needed something. He realized we were celebrating a birthday without being told and he made it special. The menu has a great selection, we all enjoyed what we ordered. Very upbeat atmosphere and you felt like they were happy to have you dining a their restaurant, which is so rare!"

  • "Good food, nice service, and very convenient to Lincoln Center. The staff was especially accommodating. Our original reservation started out for 2 people, then we added 1 more, then another 2 more. This was all done with a smile from the staff."

  • "Our party of five (including three European visitors) was welcomed warmly and seated promptly at the table we had reserved. Unfortunately, the menu provided by a link on Open Table the day before our visit (and which I had printed and brought with us, fortunately) was long out of date, so prices on our menus were a lot higher than we had anticipated. Our waiter understood our dilemma, and brought it to the attention of a manager, who allowed us some flexibility in ordering the select-your-own combinations of appetizers. We each enjoyed a good, leisurely lunch for a reasonable value. Service was excellent -- prompt and attentive, but never hurried. Our waiter even indulged requests to photograph our party with several cameras. Thanks!"

  • "Great Food and expedience service for pre-show at Lincoln Center. It is very busy, but an organized busy. Also, the level of noise is high, due to the fact they keep doors open because of the out door seating. Overall, it is a fun and good food place."

  • "Right at Lincoln Center, great food! Parts of the restaurant are more lively/noise than others. When possible we choose to sit in their back room which is quieter. Portions are generous."

  • "My friends and I made a reservation for lunch thinking we would get their extensive pix fixe. I even called a couple of weeks before and had the hostess explain it to me because it seemed too good to be true. Well, it was. When we got to the restaurant we were informed that they changed the prix fixe and now it was very limited. We were all disappointed and unhappy with the choices. The waitress was not accommodating even after I explained how I had phoned in advance. We ordered off the regular menu but I don't think we will return to Fiorellos any time soon."

  • "I had very low expectations on Cafe Fiorello. The location, menu, and silly prices clearly states that this is a tourist spot. And so my expectations were low. Very low. Remarkably, CF was able to surprise me on the downside. My tired Italian waiter was roaming the patio looking to turnover table's at the speed of a dollar in a teenage girls wallet at H&M. I ordered a starter and $33 Pasta and crossed my fingers that it would be eatable. 2 Minutes after I placed the order my Italian waiter dished out the starter. I mean two minutes. 120 seconds. I was hungry and started to eat although the wine I ordered had not yet been served. Literally two bites into my starter, the waiter came running with my main course. Stay away! Cheers, Tomas"

  • "The food is always excellent which is why we go there before the theater. However, this time, We had an outstanding waiter. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name, however when we ordered, the restaurant was out of a very standard dish that is always on the menu. This waitor went out of his way to find out what we wanted instead and although it WASN'T on the menu, he created a dish that could not have been better. We dine out often, and to find a waitor to take such an interest in making his customer happy was unprecedented. Kudos to Cafe Fiorello! A great ddining spot accross from Lincoln Center."

  • "Major changes in the selection, quality, and price of their famous anti-pasta bar has changed and not for the better. As a long-time customer there I was very disappointed… Still it is a nice place to eat."

  • "When we come to NY, we really enjoy having a brunch at this delightful location across from the Lincoln Center. While we were disappointed that it was a little chilly to sit outside this year, the inside was very comfortable and we still had a good view. However, we found that NY law does not allow the brunch "beverage" to be served - disappointing as we didn't know that. They substituted a fruit juice but that isn't quite the same is it? Next time, we will come on another day!! (alcohol can be served at noon or later). anyway the food was all very good, and the service was also. Wonderful way to relax and enjoy a few hours."
