The food was incredibly well prepared and delicious. I had the French Onion Soup was even better than I've had in France! My husband raved about his Crab Cakes and Croque Madame. We had reservations for Sunday brunch and were seated immediately upon arrival. We chose to sit outside; tables are on the wide sidewalk, so not a particularly scenic view, but good people watching. The breakfast buffet was good, but not outstanding. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Food was fresh and appropriately portioned. Desserts were amazing. Got lucky as it was Saturday night and the noise level was very low (and most tables were filled). I accidentally left the restaurant with the merchant's copy of the receipt. The restaurant kindly telephoned me to ask permission to charge my credit card as they didn't want to do that without my approval. Now that's service! Fun time!!3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThe ambiance at Cafe FelixThe ambiance at Cafe Felix is warm and charming; it feels very European. We were seated by the window, giving us a nice streetscape view. The service was friendly and attentive. My husband ordered a martini , which he proclaimed excellent, and I tried an unusual wine (Picpoul de Pinet) which is now my favorite white. Our entrees included scallops, which were tender and moist with a crisp golden sear, and duck breast with caramelized apples and cauliflower "risotto" -- also delectable. The only complaint of the evening was that my husband's potato side dish was not piping hot.
