We chose Cafe de Ville based upon previous good experiences 2+ years ago, and perception it would be a good fit as the "casual yet elegant" spot for our casual outing. Yadda, yadda... Very excellent service, and every aspect was top notch. We found ourselves sharing little tastes from plate to plate: lamb, beet salad, dumplings, fabulous mushroom soup, filet, and all was scrumptious.
