My friend and I grabbed a quick breakfast on a Friday morning at Cafe Condessa and what a fabulous meal that was! We both had egg dishes and were happy with the simple but delicious choices available. It's a small and cozy space and a great people-watching spot. I will definitely return!

Had an amazing dinner with friends at Cafe Condesa. We could all hear each other even though the place is smaller. Two of the 4 sides have big windows which makes it feel spacious and best of all the dishes are really special - it was hard to pick what to get and the prices were really affordable. As my friend who had the lamb said, "I can't get over the value you get when you come here. Great food, great price."

I ordered pork, they brought out lamb. When I informed them of their mistake they offered me 1 free drink, which did not compensate for me having to watch the rest of my table enjoy their dinner. My food eventually arrived 15 minutes later. The waitress then forgot to bring our check for approximately 35 minutes, at which point we saw that they did not even get the free drink part correct.

The crab tortellini appetizer is delicious! The berry crisp with a scoop of ice cream was a great buy at only $6.00. Everything was made fresh, with great skill and care. We will definitely return, despite the annoyingly small tables.

We had four people for dinner- everything was great except the salmon - it was low on taste, as was the mashed potato and asparagus it came with. I tasted my dinner mates food as well- their was wonderful.

Very good food, interesting menu. Admittedly very long waits, but the staff is hard-working and extremely friendly and welcoming, so it's tough to get angry about it. Very charming atmosphere, fits right in with the feel of the West Village.
