It is consistently amazing! Since we cook very well at home, and border on gourmet, we aren't usually impressed with the food at most high-priced restaurants. Cafe Chardonnay; however, never disappoints us. We use it as our special occasion spot. In addition to the great food, the service is always excellent!
On this visit, my husband ordered the Swordfish and I ordered the skirt steak. We were both extremely pleased (and full, when we left). We were seated quickly and earlier than our reservation at a fantastic table up some steps by the window. Not upstairs, but a separate little area. We ordered a wine from their extensive wine list and started with the shrimp and crab cocktail, which they split for us. Dinner was Lamb for me and Braised Short Ribs for my husband. Both were amazing. Lamb was cooked perfectly to my liking and the goat cheese mashed potatoes were awesome!
